I thorougly enjoyed hearing Iga, Foolz and Homer again. Very tight work guys, congratulations and thank you for pulling it together.
I LOL'd many times throughout.
The DMZ host is where all traffic goes unless otherwise forwarded. That is, it's essentially the same as a direct connection to the Internet. This will fix the problem because all ports are open. You should only need to set up port forwarding for the ports used in FIFA, not all 65536 ports.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileYodariquo said:On EA's online problems, you don't necessarily need the PS3 to be set as the DMZ host on your router. A server runs a service on a port, so on a dedicated server, there's no need for port forwarding. When it's peer to peer and it never touches a server, then unless otherwise circumvented through Universal Plug n' Play, the ports will be blocked by the router and you won't be able to connect.

Port forwarding works too. This happens with other games too ,though, and the last time I tried port forwarding I managed to fail miserably so I think this time I'll try DMZ when I get around to it. I suppose it's mroe risky, though.
Oh your EA FIFA story was painful to listen to... unbeleiveable.

Homer was understandably bemoaning Australia getting screwed by Nintendo all the time because we have to wait for the EU release.
It because we use PAL. If we used NTSC then we could get games the same times as the States. Because the EU games have to be translated to 5 different languages there is a time delay built in for the PAL versions. So while here in AU we speak only english, because our PAL brothers in the EU are so accomodating with their eccentric languages we have to wait.
Was there something after the show? I don't usually listen, once the show is closed I shut it down.
If there is something after that I can put it as bonus content on the next podcast -- what am I looking for?

Okay, sorry about that. I've told the other guys, and now you, that if there is anything special in the aftershow to let me know, otherwise, seriously, as soon as I hear the drop I cut it off, by the time I get to the end of a show I've already been editing for a couple of hours.
I'll edit it up as bonus content.
