Yoda, as a note you need to pick up Bulletstorm and give it a try. I hate FPS and I loved this game. To add onto what Aspro said, the game rewards you for creatively killing your opponents. The "headshot" that is the primary way to kill enemies in every other FPS is out the door here. Headshots are boring. You know what's not though? Kicking an opponent across the screen, capturing him mid-air with your electric leash, pulling him back to you, and then shooting him in the groin with a suped up shotgun into a field of electric insects.... while you're drunk.

Seriously play it. Besides it's ridiculously hobo priced now. Gamefly just had a sale and it was $7.99 through them.

Another awesome podcast. Shooter dicussion was great.

Aspro, you didn't answer my being shot riddle from the previous impressions so I'm just going to come out and say it: you're wrong.

Well, you're actually right in that that is often the case when someone is shot, but you're wrong because often does not mean always. Being shot can result in instant excruciating, crippling pain. Going into shock and getting a hit of adrenalin is not guaranteed, nor is it always going to result in what you described anyway.

I bring it  up only because no one solved my wonderful riddle. Fuck you guys.

That was what sucked so much about the game. The gadgets had so much potential to make up for the crap combat, but were so poorly implemented due to very restrictive, unimaginative and boring level design that didn't really take the gadgets into account.

As for HL-2: they replace platform puzzles with walking around with nothing happening. And utterly abhorrant vehicle sections. Both games have so much filler. That’s why the Episodes are actually good, though they still managed to stick filler in Episode 2. Not sure how they managed that given that it's 7 hours long.

Best of 10? After I won the first 3 I wasn’t paying any attention at all, thus why I lost the last one by spinning out at the end. So my prediction for best of 10 would be 6-10. I'm Spain; I do just enough to win.

It’s amazing that whenever you try to do Scottish you do Irish, and yet you can do a perfect Scottish accent completely by accent, though the porn brought out the Scottish in you. That's actually almost exactly how the Scottish character in Sam and Max sounds.

Also on the podcast you were both saying porn actor (as far as I can remember) so Aarny still qualifies.
