I've been looking to enter the surveillance center for a couple days now, to no avail. I want a silver shovel. I got my silver watering can yesterday, BTW. Yay!

Have you donated money to the town? Shit, I can't finish paying my house when Nook's already shoving me a new upgrade up the ass. How the fuck am I supposed to donate? And that sucks because the fountain and bridge sound awesome.

And windmill/lighthouse. I cant afford any of it. Once I pay off my house upgrades, then I get started on Gracies, then I start donating.

You can pay the town 200,000 bells (bells = in-game currency) to build a new bridge, 500,000 bells to build a wishing well, or 1,000,000 bells to build a lighthouse or a windmill.

I never donated to Boondox. I would donate knowing I get a windmill in return though Grinning

So if I want the three of them I have to donate 1.7 million bells? Fuuuuck. Nook better start raising those turnip prices real soon. Coconuts can only get you so far.

TBH I lost about 70'000 bells over 3 weeks on turnips. I was burned so badly I only invest 20'000 a week now. Even if I have a staggering 400+ price at nooks that is still only like an 80'000 reward.

I guess I'm more about slowly picking fruit and waiting rather than gambling now.

If you clear out your inventory you can sell 7500 worth of fruit in batches. I normally do three runs so 22'500 once every couple of days.

cool i won't mail it though cos it's going to take forever.  we're bound to visit before that i think, don't you?  i loved donating to boondox ... it was like adopting a starving child, they would send me back the funniest/most moving letters.  miss boondox

cool stuff like how you were their benefactor and that thanks to you they got running water etc ... and getting progressively more posh the more you donated them.  and they would send you feathers you could wear on your head

With the number of trees I have, I guess selling fruit could prove useful. Turnips could be far more profitable if I bought 150K to 200K of turnips each week. The risk is too high, however.

Yeah I expected not to lose money at all after a year of Wild World DS turnips.

Then daily for 3 weeks the prices at Nooks were no higher than 70 bells. So I lost it.

Recentely though at some point in the week its generally been 130-156 bells.

With my 20'000 weekly investment its a paltry 3000-8000 bell profit. I can pick a few fruit for that. Sad

My orange and pear trees grew! Only one of each, mind you, it seems that my soil is cursed. Now, landscaping. I have to even out fruit trees and leave enough room to walk comfortably, I must have had over 350 trees planted, but I'm starting to chop them off now, knowing the spots that trees grow in more reliably. I already lined up the shoreline with palmtrees.
