The first verse of the song is:
Begin the day
With a friendly voice
A companion, unobtrusive
Plays that song that's so elusive
And the magic music makes your morning mood
The whole song is a tribute to the local radio station they loved in Toronto.
I don't use a song to wake up.
I use a sound effect from Young Justice as my alarm. It is a device that Robin used that kept playing his laugh over and over again.
This is a great wake up track...always gets me ready to pound some vagina.

That's quite a fun song. Are they an old group?

For some reason it reminds me of that scene in the Golden Child when Eddie Murphy busts into a crackhouse to save a kidnapped kid.
Rush started in the early 70's, and just called it quits a few years ago.

2112, easily their best. Set aside some time, it’s twenty minutes long.
They have a ton of great songs...depends what you like. They got a lot more poppy in the 80's and 90's but they were still great. To me, their 70's stuff is the pinnacle period for them. Just classic progressive rock.
- Fly By Night, 1975
- Caress of Steel, 1975
- 2112, 1976
- A Farewell To Kings, 1977
- Hemispheres, 1978
You just can't beat that shit. Their most popular album was 1981's Moving Pictures. Great album, kind of the bridge between what they already did and the direction they were headed.
Sounds very lyrical.
Closer to the heart is good. Haven't checked out the rest.
Even if he's not, my endorsement of his statement is.
Perfect accompaniment to chamomile tea at breakfast.
If the Queen heard this, her fine china tea cups would instantly shatter upon the first note.
For something more genuine, I listened to this song after I woke up this morning.
By Miu Watanabe.
Mine is Good Morning Culture by Go Go Vanillas
It evokes the feeling of waking up at an American campsite on a glorious day by the lake. I don't like mornings, but this song makes me happy.
