Done. Awesome game, lives up to the Zelda name. The final part of the tower dungeon was as well designed and head scratching as some of the very best Zelda dungeons. If it were not for a few bad design choices this game could easily have been up there with LA as best handheld Zelda.

Funny how people who didn't like Phantom Hourglass like this game.

I however am not loving it so far. I'm on my way to the snow temple now, getting blown away by blizzards. The design seems very simplistic, there is a lot of asset recycling is going on. The trains feel.... on rails. Well at least in Phantom Hourglass the sea looked great and you could plot your own freeform route.

The overworld in this game is a pixellated mess and avoiding evil trains seems rubbish. Lord GOD! The microphone should be banned for use in real time combat or for playing tunes. I loathe blowing into that mic to try and use the pipes. If I could press buttons or tap icons it would be fine.

And on the whole, the game just doesn't seem that original now that Phantom Hourglass established everything.

So far the only redeeming thing about the game is the witty script, Zelda comes out with some great lines.

So its okay and I'm enjoying it, but not greatly, it feels like a light, Zelda by numbers game at the moment aside from the odd inspired puzzle. And those Anoukis are pain in the ass.

True but there wasn't much to do. Believe me ST has a lot more things to do in the overworld than PH. It just might be more boring to get to those things.

True but there wasn't much to do. Believe me ST has a lot more things to do in the overworld than PH. It just might be more boring to get to those things.

I hope so, I liked the islands in PH.

Really though seeing those anouki things again was too much for me. In a game that recycles so much from visuals to controls, seeing those annoying gits turn up again in that plainly designed town just made it feel like a fan made game.

I get annoyed at the Stargates, I mean some have the gem at the top, but most dont so how do I know which ones will be active and when can I use them?

Oh yeah, stopping to find that train spotter was lol. I was going so fast I thought he was an enemy until I realised. Trying to ferry the bridge builder now. Its getting better.

How many dungeons are there? Seems I've done two of four? Outside of the tower?

5 dungeons with just as many tower parts which are as complex as a dungeon. The stargates had me confused for so long. Basically there are two gates that match in the world, only one has the green gem to activate the pair. Once you activate it the two gates get the yellow gem which allows you to transport through them. What I did was draw on my map a different number for each matching gate so I knew where each gate took me.

What is hard to understand. There are tons of gates, each gate has a matching gate, so there are a ton of pairs. One gate in each pair has a green gem, that activates the portal so that you may use it.

How do you mark which one goes where again? When you zoom through the map changes and you are back on the route planner. And are the gates two way once the gem has been activated?

I ferried the guy to fix the bridge and found that guy on the birds.

Its more enjoyable. Still prefer PH. I can't get past the train journey feeling like one overlong loading sequence.

Just mark it on your map the same way you mark anything. I just put a number, when two match I used the same number to mark both, that way I knew that 1 transported me to the other 1 and 2 transported me to the other 2. Remember you can always go into your map using the menu button and using the railroad map. Yes the gates are two way once they are activated.

Don't ever mention PH and ST in the same sentence again.
