Agnates said:Parasite Eve was awesome. But they'll probably make 3 an Uncharted clone or some shit, like they did 2 RE.
The fact that the game is happening is good news enough. I don't mind if the game is made more accessible. I think that can only be a good thing.
But it won't be like Uncharted because this was originally a cell phone game that's been enhanced for the PSP. So expect traditional PE.

I vote thread per conference and a thread per publisher.

I think we can bunch some of the publishers together, how many people will be in the Activision thread or EA thread. Just stick all those together.

Didn't we just have one conference thread that covered all 3 last year?

They are so scared of it. They will edit it down to like 10 minutes later.
With the LA game expo almost upon us, here's our guide to what's on when, and what to expect.
Sunday June 13
Microsoft kicks the week off with the unveiling of Natal - or whatever it's to be called - at 7pm. Wave? And $149? Expect Rare to be among the developers showing off the first set of games.
Monday June 14
With us no doubt aching after an evening of flailing as we sample the games on offer, Microsoft will take to the stage again at 10am for its press conference. Could we be seeing an Xbox Slim? Maybe? Details of a dashboard update? Developments on gaming on Windows Phone 7? All up for grabs.
EA will hold its press conference at 2pm; expect something special from a certain UK studio there. Ubisoft, meanwhile, will present its press conference at 5pm. Expect Driver: San Francisco, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Ghost Recon Future Soldier, plus a couple of rather nice surprises.
Tuesday June 15
Nintendo starts its press conference at the criminally early time of 9am - what with Activision holding its E3 party the night before. The promise of the unveiling of 3DS and the next console Zelda game will be enough to rouse us, though. It's hard to imagine that there will be any appearance of a new generation Wii, but we'll be hoping for more on the Vitality Sensor.
Sony kicks its press conference off at 11.30am. More Move for sure, but a new PSP? That would be spiffing. Killzone 3 (plus 3D), Infamous 2, Gran Turismo 5 (could this be its historic last appearance at the show?), LittleBigPlanet 2, and maybe a new Motorstorm, too. And The Last Guardian? Here's hoping.
On the show floor itself, we'll be looking out in particular for the new XCOM, Epic Mickey, which, rumours suggest, has been redeveloped since its first unveiling, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Portal 2 (judging by Valve's latest press release, it's all we're getting from the house of Freeman this year, but it's a good one), Fable 3 and, The Last Guardian. But that last one goes without saying, right?
Start dumping guys, cause you know I'm all blocked up.
