Think about it for a moment. What would happen if a Marlin, Swordfish or Sailfish would spear its prey?

Okay we mentioned this creature before, so we might as well get it over with.

It is time for the Peregrine Falcon to swoop down at breakneck speeds.

This thing is fast. One bird is even clocked to reach a speed of 389 km/h (242 mph) during a dive.

You can see the video of that particular dive here

The falcon is able to reach the fastest speed of any animal while in a dive. During flapping flight it reaches speeds of around 100 km/h, not as fast as a needletail, but still very fast.

A Falcon hunting a pigeon

This ends the somewhat 'normal' animals. The freakshow will start soon. Enter at your own peril!

It would be stuck there.

That's what I wondering about.

Correct, and because it has no arm it would remain there.

They club their prey to death, check out the video to see them in action.

^Yeah I saw that one.

Good, now it is time for the freak show. Edge gave us an apetizer, but now it is time for the main course.

Because some of you are playing Resident Evil, let us start with the Cordyceps Fungus.

A fungus you say? Yes, did I mention it is a mind controlling fungus?

No, check out a real life zombie outbreak.

But wait I have more.

Yes, there is an Isopod (family of your common pillbug) that enters a fish through it gills. Chokes out the tongue until it dies and effectively replace the tongue and feeds by sucking the blood, mucus and whatever leftover that remains.

The name: Cymothoa exigua

You want sad? I give you sad!

It is called a Blobfish. A fish that lives in deep waters. It has good reason to look sad though. It is facing extinction, because of deep sea fishing.
