Guy/girl is an ass. They've ruined kids TV for future generations. Only my generation will remember how awesome it was.

You used to get like Entertainment/Music/Celebs and cartoons from like 9am till 12:30 pm every saturday morning. Now its news news news then cooking programs. It ruined the cartoon industry.

Guess I should update you on what I've been watching.

179794-4104-spider-man_super.jpg

I finished 5 seasons of Spiderman 1994. This show is awesome and probably in my top 5 of all time. It's perfectly paced, action packed and has story revelations that made my jaw drop at times. Even on episodes you think would be lame, suddenly they drop a bomb and you leave shocked. The show is much better watched on DVD as you can just flip on the next episode, unlike having to wait a week between viewings as a kid.

I have the final two episodes left of this. It's really excellent, it's structured like a japanese anime with a story that begings and ends with a long story arc. There are two types of episode - filler and main story. When the main story is kicking on high gears it can be an exhilerating experience.

justice_league.jpg

7 discs into the complete Justice League, just made the transition from 7 man team to full on DC universe in unlimited. Very good series, the first 2 seaons have some good and some not so good episodes. Done by the same team as Batman the animated series.

superman-anim1.jpg

6 episodes into Superman the animated series and it's dullsville so far. Such a boring character compared to Batman. And his portrayel in the toon is faaaar less entertaining than Lois and Clark the series or the Superman movies.

EDIT: Seen a lot more. Some of this is good, Lobo is a character they introduced which was hilarious and then they did more sci fi type episodes which were fun and not the normal Metropolis bad guy stuff.

Finally finished Avatar the series.

It's a very good series overall. Watch it from start to finish, especially if you have kids but want to watch something vaguely engaging and intelligent.

LOLOLOL I just rented GI Joe the animated movie.

I watched the first 20 minutes. It was hilarious. I recognise most of the voice actors and writers and even animation style from Defenders of the Earth, Transformers and Visionaries. If this movie is good enough I will have to mull over getting the series.

Watch the opening sequence, where LOL Cobra are attacking the Statue of Liberty, and the almost musical stage show number over the top.

I just finished watching GI Joe the animated movie.

Man, it was awesome. It was my first experience with GI Joe. It was made by Marvel and Sunbow and you can really tell.

From watching it I can tell, it has similar music and animation, characters and even some of the writers who worked on fun shows like Defenders of the Earth, Transformers generation 1 and Visionaries. It even features some of the same voice actors.

I thought GI Joe was one guy or like a small team of special forces. But no. It's like a 100 man military force. There is all sorts of 80s awesome, like superhero punches that can take your head off, guns that can explode walls, weird bad guys like Serpentor who wears snakes around his neck and can throw them to pierce mens hearts. Grinning

It's a real 80s kids fantasy, you wouldn't be suprised to see a montage in it. I'm going to get the whole series now, no doubt.
