Still watching Hunter X Hunter.

Team Gon just defeated the Bombers in Greed Island. They got all 99 slot cards, now they're having a trivia tournament to decide who wins Card #0.

Lovefilm is dead so I am culling off anime from Netflix, probably too fast for my own good. They have a few good clasics, most of which I saw elsewhere before. I finished Kuromukuro, all 26 episodes but it's obvious it doesn't end there so I am waiting on a new season.

Season 2 of The Seven Deadly Sins is as good as the first but only 4 episodes up?

Netflix has this tendancy to have only the first season or a limited number of episodes, Tokyo Ghoul for instance or Hunter x Hunter, they are missing episodes towards the end so I'm left hanging. I've moved onto Magi the Adventure of Sinbad, it's only 13 episodes and so far is as consistent as Magi Labyrinth of Magic. Pretty good overall.

Anyone know what streaming service has Naruto Shippuden?

Hulu has it; they have 500 episodes subbed in English and 97 episodes dubbed in English.

Not sure Hulu has a UK service. But I've seen over 325 episodes in English, I can't start watching it in Japanese now.

In Hunter X Hunter Gon completed Greed Island they chose the three cards they wanted to keep. The next story arc started with Gon and Killua using accompany to go to the first person he saw in Greed Island he thinks it is his dad.

I've been watching Trigun. It's pretty old but still fairly engaging for the slapstick. Wondering whether it's just episodic or will there be a story arc. Also about 10 episodes into Eureka Seven. I love the comedy bits. Had to read a wiki though to remind me what was going on.

I want to slap the head of the Gekko state in Eureka Seven silly - for wailing on a child repeatedly while all the crew just stand there and let child abuse take place repeatedly.

Finished Terror in Resonance. It's on Netflix and it's only 11 episodes long.

Really good series about terrorists. Lots of cat and mouse like stuff. Very well directed. Check it out.

Also Trigun had a revalatory episode and is getting much better. It's an old series but still engaging and enjoyable.

Got a sweet wicked cheap deal on collectors editions of The Heroic Legend of Arslan. It's adapted from the novel by Fullmetal Alchemist creator. And I'm pleased to say it's really good so far. There's some wicked hilarious satire about religeous extremism in the first episode. It's also funny and well directed. I'm excited to watch the rest.

Finished Trigun, good series overall. Feel it would work well as a movie. Shame it wasn't more popular back in the day. Reminds me of Fist of the North Star a bit.

Using Netflix.

Started Cowboy Bebop again. Trigun had me hankering for some 90s anime.

It's not half bad when you accept it for its episodic fluff. The stories don't amount to much so far - I'm hoping there is a good story arc later in the series as I am only 8 episodes in.

But the style and swagger of the series carries it through. It still looks great, the production design reminds me of something like Galaxy Rangers, the shots they have, camera angles as it were - are perfectly framed, the music is excellent too.

Also started this series called Samurai Flamenco. The boxart on the site put me off, it looked weird and I had no idea what the series was going to be like until I watched it. Turns out I shouldn't have worried as it is a very funny comedy series about a model who by night tries to become a real life superhero. There are no superpowers invovled though and he gets beaten up by kids and drunks. Can't wait to watch more.

Cowboy Bebop does have an overall story arc but it is just placed here or there throughout the series and wraps up in the last two episodes.

The main overarching plot is in the episodes: "Ballad of Fallen Angels", "Jupiter Jazz Part 1", "Jupiter Jazz Part 2", "The Real Folk Blues Part 1" and "The Real Folk Blues Part 2"

The rest of the series is episodic and just provides backstory on the characters.

The movie takes place between episode 22 and 23.

Sounds very much like Samurai Champloo in that regard.

Whoa. Wth happened to Samurai Flamenco? They throw in this completely left field episode which totally changes the premise of the series. It's gone from superhero spoof set in the real world to literally The Power Rangers.

I started My Hero Academia on the Funimation app.

The animation is by Bones so it is always good.

I saw the first two episodes so far. It is really good.

If you like superhero comics you should like this.

I didn't see that they had Season 2 on the website as well as Season 1.

Bones is a great animation house, in terms of actual animation. I'm watching Eureka Seven by them too.
