Yes I remember that disturbing scene.
I'm watching Black Butler, god knows why. It's crap and the English dub is like S&M on the ears.
Finally started Fairy Tail Part 9, LOL so funny. Although for some reason the fan service is getting worse and worse. It was always a family friendly show but they are straddling the line with the big boobs and sexual poses even if no nipples or muff is seen.
Ah! I'm finally up to speed with Kuroko and Ace of Diamond. Now I wait. Every week. I should start watching the cycling one in the meantime.

Fixed
I'm nearing the end of Bleach, so sad that this series had to either wait for the manga to catch up or do filler, even near the end where epic stuff is happening I'm getting crappy filler episodes.
On part 10 of Fairy Tail, awesome as usual. So funny and some really great lines in there. The fan service though, dem boobs.
I thought the first episode of Kill la Kill was good.
I'm sure I made another post in relation to SKET Dance on the previous page, but the entire page seems to have disappeared.
I've finished SKET Dance and now I'm watching Narcissist Panda (more commonly known as Polar Bear Café). It's quite leisurely. It's about various animals (including humans) who hang around a polar bear's café.

I'm nearing the end of the One Piece UK dvd releases, only 2 more episodes. I'm at a loss as to what to do next, they are so slow to localise and Crunchyrolls' One piece isn't availible here.
Darker Than Black is releasing on Blu-ray this May
I remember watching some of it but I don't remember if I ever saw the end of the series.
Any good? I'm watching Karneval, an anime with 'veruga', monsters and an organization called Circus that hunts them. It's okay but it's not clicking for some reason.
EDIT: gave up on Karneval during the very last episode, ugh, going nowhere, useless.
Next up: Naruto

You might like Kenichi, it's sort of a sporting type anime. Kenichi starts training to become a martial arts disciple but his fights start breaking out of the dojo and into the town. It's a lot of fun and light hearted, but initally seems like it's trying too hard.
Also edited the Opening post, rejigged my list somewhat. Attack on Titan climbed, Legend of Korra drops after Book 3. Karneval places in the bottom and Blue Exorcist gets rated.
Black Butler and Ergo Proxy will get rated sooner to the end though neither of them is particularly good.
Saw the first 9 eps of Naruto, after finally working out that Naruto Unleashed was uncensored original Naruto series.
Seems very, of the period. Early 2000s.
I like when it gets serious, the funny stuff is good but the English Naruto voice actor/tress? is highly annoying. Other than that the only thing which bothers me is Narutos outfit, a day glow bright orange jumpsuit? WTF kind of ninja outfit is that?

Finished the Tenrou story arc in Fairy Tail Part 9 and 10 - this is series is the greatest, well after FMAB. So much fun, seems perfectly paced, always something new, always has you grinning and always has a satisfying conclusion.
Watched about 20 episodes into Soul Eater, took a very long time to get interesting, there is something of a plot developing, scant though it may be. Pretty average series so far.
Black Butler is still crap yet somehow I can't stop watching it. It is enjoyable on a base level, somehow, I can't explain it.
I don't like Naruto. Not even enough to bother with a full episode.
I'll see if I can find Kenichi, GG. I should start watching One Piece too.

Why the fuck are you watching Naruto in English?

One Piece is like a retro version of Fairy Tail, it starts off feeling pretty dated but gets better. Bear in mind this anime has over a decades worth of episodes. 600 + episodes and only 200 released in the uk and the anime is still going on in Japan.
The Chopper and Alabasta story arcs are great.

Why shouldn't I? I prefer English anime, not easy reading subs sideways in bed.
Still very slowly ploughing through Ergo Proxy - obtuse and super serious, pretty slow too. Not great.
Also watching Soul Eater, getting better.
Re-watching Attack on Titan and it's great, then started re-watching FMA: Brotherhood and it was immediately better and I realised why. AOT is all about tension and that's its one gear and it does it great, FMAB on the other hand spans multiple emotions and scenarios. It has quiet reflective moments, sadness, joy, elation, love, the whole lot and the story/plot spans decades.
Also 2 episodes into Black Butler and the English dub is horrific, a bunch of American actors faking English accents. It's like Mary Poppins Dick Van Dyke x 6!
