More stoy is coming, GG. There is a reason for all of these fights. You may or may not like the whole story, though, as it is a bat-shit crazy storyline. I won't deny that Kill la Kill has a very niche appeal. Gurrann Lagann might be more suited for your tastes, as it does have a more detailed story early on, while still being completely bat-shit crazy. Guess it all depends on how much bat-shit you can handle. Nyaa

I look forward to it, but the monkey shit release of this series on dvd is holding me back. I have to wait god knows how long for part 2 and 3 etc. There is some Scottish company handling the release and drip feeding us super expensive boxsets and of course no UK site has streaming rights. Actually I think Netflix recentely got them, I may try them out as they would have a lot of anime in English too.

Dog and scissors looks fun.

Evangelion 3.33 Pushed Back Indefinitely

Watched more No Game No Life, still very funny and surprising, especially when the atmosphere vanished.

I thought you said there were 24? So they haven't released them yet. Damn.

I tried the first ep of Dengenki something something the one about the adult book store. Pretty funny and gentle humour. I like it.

Raven you are like the Anime Sommelier.

If you are currently a Netflix UK subscriber and are a fan of anime then prepare for some exciting news; as starting from today a selection of newer Manga Entertainment UK titles will be available stream on Netflix UK as part of your subscription; that is according to a Netflix UK facebook page.

  • Attack on Titan (Season 1)
  • Black Butler (Season 2)
  • Blue Exorcist
  • Death Note
  • Ghost in the Shell (Movie)
  • High School of the Dead
  • Psycho Pass (Season 1)
  • Vampire Knight (Season 1 + 2).
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! (Season 2)

These new additions join the already ‘impressive’ back-catalogue of anime titles on service, titles such as Highschool DxD, Yu-Gi-Oh! (Season 1) and Kill-La-Kill. It’s currently unknown if more titles will appear on the service, or for how long they will be available, but if you are a subscriber then it’s definately worth checking out while you’ve got the chance.

Unfortuntely, there has been no word whatsoever of more episodes of No Game No Life being made. My understanding is that it was well recieved in Japan, so it seems likely that season 2 will be made eventually. *crosses fingers*

Denki-gai? Yeah, that's a very fun, light-hearted show. Glad you're enjoying it.

Anime Sommelier? LOL

Finished Dog & Scissors. A fun throw-away anime, which started to grate on my nerves by the last (12th) episode. It's fun if you are bored and just want to watch something completely mindless and silly.

Watched the first episode of Tokyo Ghoul Season 2. Very cool. It's going to be painful to wait weekly for each new episode.

Ehhhhhhhh....

Netflix Kill la Kill is only subtitled. I had been watching the English dub. This is most irksome frown

Nevermind, the Japanese dub is better. LOL when Mako was caught between teachers "Dog at the front gate, toad at the back" ROFFLES! Also when the guy in the turtle neck unzipped just to gasp LOL and that girl just showed up. Things r looking up. yes

Watched more Kill la Kill.

Netflix is so much better than FREE Crunchyroll. It skips the credits at the end, you can still watch them if you click the in picture - picture - but otherwise it auto skips the credits after 10 seconds and goes to the next episode automatically AND stays fullscreen whilst doing it. With CRoll I have to manually skip the credits or face a barrage of adverts before the credits even roll then have to wait for more adverts to roll before I can make it full screen again.

Anyhow, I'm getting this thing with Kill la Kill where half the episode is complete crap and the other half is complete awesomeness. Or part 1 of a event is crap then part 2 is awesome. Things like having Kobe beef steaks stuck to tanks and people throwing iron books which can magically englarge to become shields. Idiots turning into giant crabs, people running around in American Football gear, money being shot as bullets... ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

And then Matoi shows up and it starts getting more epic.

Also started Space Dandy.

This show is awesome! I saw the first 2 eps and by the end I knew that it was my  current favourite show to watch. It's made by BONES too, the Fullmetal Alchemist studio. The easiest way to describe it to people who have seen Redline is: imagine if the lead character of Redline was an intergalactic bounty hunter who cruised about space with his moocher space cat and R2D2 like robot.

The animation is trippy, very cool and impressive, it's a funny show too and has bags of style and cool retro music.

I love the credits music.

Im really starting to hate Anime Ltd - the company responsible for the super expensive, tiny content Kill La Kill UK boxsets.

@AllTheAnime    on twitter.

They are doing the same thing with Space Dandy, £30 for 13 episodes.

F****** turds.

Speaking of Jojo, does Crunchy Roll have the Japanese censorship?? It seemed so much worse than in the first season. I remember some decent gore in season 1. In Stardust Crusaders sometimes half the screen was black with shading to hide gore. Hrm

This was hilarious, though:

I wonder what he's doing!

It wasn't like that for me, that I noticed. Have you checked your settings so it shows mature content?

Didn't watch it on Crunchy Roll, but the video source may have been Crunchy Roll.

EDIT: More likely it was straight from Japanese TV, actually.

Saw the first One Piece movie which looks ancient by todays standards. And the film was cruddy too.

Also nearing the end of the Skypia story arc in the series, excellent stuff. Series can be pretty hardcore when it wants to be.
