Well in ranked matches different guns have different uses so I find good uses for them. But with turf war, it's all one strategy, I can't do it better than aerosol. And it seems it's catching on, tons of people roll with it. Rollers have really been neglected this game, I don't see many people using it.
What are your thoughts on the new specials?
SupremeAC said:Rollers are insanely OP with how you can fling ink both far and narrow or close by and wide. They have the reach of most guns, it's ridiculous.

Some are good. I don't like the curling special of the aero spray. Jet pack is fun. I need to try hamsterball. Armor is good. Splashdown is great.
Don't forget to get on the app to order special gear. It changes every few hours, right now there is this awesome Negan jacket.
Dvader said:All that being said the game isn't of course an absolute blast to play as the gameplay remains fast paced and unique. I have become a master with the aerosol gun, I have no clue why I would use anything else. It covers so much turf, I splat everyone in range. I am always first place with like 2200p. Any time I switch guns it's a mess, I lose a lot more.
I'm guessing these are typos?
I score best with Aerosprays but there are many reasons to use other guns. For instance I main on a heavy splatling these days and my score might not be the highest but I contribute in many other ways, splating many, having a huge range to hold people at bay. And of course when the map is overun I end up having the highest score on my team as I can shoot far over peoples heads, including the other team. Using rollers with the right perks mean you can flow through the level hidden and pop out and splat. Sloshers can kill anyone in two hits - in the original - and can hit people above and below you out of the line of sight. Other guns have trackers, some have sprinklers so you can territory control.

Yeah this site does some crazy autocorrect stuff, not sure why. My strategy is always apart everything, just run around covering as much paint as possible.
My copy arrived, its downloading the update. Played with controls, there are pefect once you can test them out in the training area and tweak the sensitivity. I put them to max for handheld play and -2 for tabletop/tv.
Played the first 3 single player levels - blah. About the same as the first game. It's decent and all but the multiplayer is soooooooo much better like in Splatoon 1. I haven't even had the chance to see what the other shops are yet. Seems like I'll be playing this game forever. Offscreen play, anywhere? Feels good to be unshackled. My wired lan adapter works great.

What are you saying?

Yay!!!! I want more impressions as you got them. And do salmon run! It ends early today, so stupid.
Dvader said:See!!!! Stupid phone. I spary everything.
You what?? I can't play Salmon run or much of anything else. I'm a level 2 scrub with crappy weapons and no perks. I don't understand the results screen. Does the first score show your kills and the second how many times you activate your special?

Yes.
gamingeek said:Is splatnet 2 now an android ios app and not a website anymore? So I can't use it 😢
It's an app for any phone, download it.

Not for Winphone though. Just do as I did Gg, drop your phone so the screen cracks. That way you'll be forced to get a spkatnet compatible phone, as no winphones are on sale anymore.
I had the same 'problem' with the .52Gal in the original as you're having now with the aerosol, being that I got so accustomed to it that I never used anything else. I've still got to unlick the .52Gal now. Just 4 more levels before we are reunited my preciousss.
