Let's have 'em!

What sound bars do you own, and do you like them. Please include model numbers.

I do not own any sound bar, but for reference, are we talking the stereo kind, or the surround sound variant?

Also, since you have indulged yourself with Sonos products a while ago, why not go for the Sonos sound bar?

I have a Denon receiver and a 5.1 setup. I've upgraded my receiver like 5 times since 2000, but this is the kind of setup I've had for the past 20 years (since I was able to afford a good setup). To me, this is perfect. Gives me all the sounds I need. When I hear about people doing the 7.1 or whatever setups I'm like why? It's overkill...plus it's a pain in the ass setting up that many speakers. Even a 5.1 can be annoying if you don't have the right kind of space for it.

But yeah, ever since I set up my first all in one Sony home theater back in the day, I've been hooked. I can't imagine going without good sound now. I have noticed the newer TV's have much better sound than they used to though. Never tried a sound bar.

I bought sound systems before sound bars were invented. And they still work lol.

If they ever blow up, I will get one. Maybe

I've convinc myself that about $400 is the right amount to spend. Have a few options.  My little lady cannot understand the priority of this purchasing decision, she thinks the TV speakers are adequate! Insane in the membrane.
