OH FFS!!!! Robot Batman suit??? REALLY?????
Wow, Batman can't drive for shit. WTF, Batmobile strafing... looks really plausible LOL
So they're trying to copy Halo vehicle combat. Once again Batman is portrayed as some god of the city who can do anything with barely any effort involved. Soar over the entire city with ease. Have a vehicle that arrives the very second he lands.
So Uncharted 4 was just a cutscene teaser. Wait for real in game gameplay graphics guys not this realtime cutscene bull with swapped out assets etc.
Well overall it was a much better showing than MS. But you have to remember that the mutiplat stuff they showed here like FC4, GTAV, Akham Knight and MGSV will be on XB1 too. So try to balance that out before only jizzing for Sony and not for MS.
Out of the exclusives, what was there that was good? A lot was CGI or cutscene showings. Other than that what? LBP3?
Reading up on Uncharted, this is made by the same team that made U2. That's fantastic news. Over on GAF, people are saying the video is real time because ND doesn't do CG.
Incredible!

Sorry to break it to you but even Uncharted and Last of Us cutscenes are enhanced over normal in-gameplay graphics. For instance Last of Us Remastered PS4 in game models now have the same polys as cutscene engine PS3 Last of Us, models. i.e the PS3 Last of Us in gameplay models were inferior to the in-cutscene models.
And there is no way they are doing that^ at 1080p 60FPS.
This GAF guy nailed it: "In-engine means it's being rendered in real time. What it doesn't mean is that it's actual gameplay footage. Most games use in-engine cutscenes. This was one of those. If it was actual gameplay, they'd say as much. In-game, or gameplay footage (like The Order)."
Someone else: "People keep making this mistake just like in the SW thread, in-engine does not equal in-game, it can look even a generation above the actual gameplay, don't be fool and buy this PR, they are just counting on ignorance here. The game will not look like this in gameplay."

Sweet, there's a chance it might actually be good!
Ok I just watched the event.
Sony had the better event just because they showed more gameplay and seemed to announce more games. Even unfactoring the multi-platform shit, I still think Sony wins in the exclusives area. The only Xbone game I'm interested in anytime soon is Sunset Overdrive, but I would take Sony's exclusives over that any day. The Order looks great, Ratchet remake will be fun, Last of Us yeah I'll double dip. Uncharted will be ridiculous. Little big planet I'm not really interested in.
GG, one thing I'm kind of excited about if you get a PS4, is you getting to play some of the Ratchet games, and the Jak games, among others. Being the type of player you are, I think you'll love these franchises.
Other than that, they had by far the better showing of multi-platform games. Destiny, Far Cry 4 looked insane. I guess I need to finally play FC3...shit. Batman....gorgeous.
So yeah, good show Sony. Bring on Nintendo!
I'd love to see Gg's impressions of LBP. It seems right up his alley.

I watched the Uncharted trailer, and yeah, Drake's character model looked good, but other than that, there was little in the trailer that looked far beyond anything else we've seen so far in my opinion. I mean really, it's just a performance capture and one good looking character model.
I'm sure the final game will be insane looking, but yeah....Uncharted's backgrounds don't look any better than Crysis 2007.
GTA V and The Last of Us PS4 interest me more than anything else they've shown so far.
