I can't seem to change the text color with the new editor. It'll show up fine within the editor, but the colors display as black once the post has been submitted.

I've changed several words in the above paragraph to different colors, but I'm not seeing them in either Opera 9.62 or IE7.

What it be possible to differentiate between threads/ new posts you've read and haven't?

I've explored this somewhat already.  It's a feature I haven't found a cost-effective measure of doing in terms of processing.  Basically I could easily create an associative table of what topics you've read and how many posts therein, but it would require a much heavier load on the database just for displaying the forum topics.  It's not out of the question, yet, but not a sure thing either.

It's a feature I want to have as well, I'm just being very careful with the design of the site with regard to server load.

Please refer these types of posts to the bugs topic.  This is fixed.

Ooops! I didn't realize that I put it in the wrong thread. Grinning

Thanks, Yoda!

Not even with the power of the Force could Yoda prevail in handling such an enormous workload as that would entail, I'm afraid. Sad

That's exactly what they said about blowing up the Death Star.

Yoda, I think I have a solution to our blogging problems.

I noticed that our news on Saturday is less than all the other days, and Sunday is even worse. Sometimes we have no news at all on Sunday. So could you put those two together in a single column, and call it weekend? The column that is now free can show 10 or 20 latest blogs.

I have a suggestion Yo. You know we have only one board? But when you click forums at the top of the page it takes you to another page you have to click through to get there. Its a little annoyance but till there is more then one board it would be cool if it just took you directly to page 1 of the board.

Yoda, you rule.  I remember when you finally got sick about us all bitching about not being able to track each others blogs at 1up and did something about it.

My silly suggestion is that you add an option in the profile to add our country that would show a little flag under our names in the forums.  Since it appears that we don't have more than 1 member in each nation it's kinda cool to remember who is where and what time they are in.  Not sure if that makes sense.

Hmm, this is a nice thought and completely doable (could even do IP detection to autofill your selection), but a bit time consuming so I'd mark this one down as a highly likely future addition, but it may be a little while -- mainly because I'm way behind on several other updates.

To be fair on the blog tracking, I was the forefront of those complaints Nyaa.  It's a little sad I don't have any use for that blog tracking tool anymore.

BTW, what's happened with that site you were developing?  You mentioned it back on 1up but then separated a bit as it sounded as though you needed a break.  If it's done, definitely thow us a link.
