Okay, without going into too many details, I will go ahead and admit it. The World Ends With You: Solo Remix is superior to the original DS version.

Man, that brings back memories. I bought Soul Bubbles on the DS. When you mentionned it I could immediately picure the game's main character, but couldn't remember anything about how you were supposed to play it. I don't remember it being all that great though.
Great game, one of the best DS games. You blew or cut or expanded a bubble around spirits and navigated around large perilous levels.
I was uncomfortable playing that game since the main character was a naked baby-man.
I think I'm going to end the experiment of playing Dragon Quest 8 on my tablet. I can deal with the stripped down music and the lack of voice acting. I can deal with the extra loading times. The controls however are a deal breaker. They tried to make a few accomodations to the game with an auto walk button, but you can't use it in caves, and even most of the landscape is too varied for that to work. Pity. I really love this game, and thought I could tolerate it, but even being my favorite game isn't enough to overcome the fact that a 3-D work can't work without a traditional controller.
^Yeah, that was the one good thing about the Marvel comics service on the PSP. They looked amazing. The size ratio of the PSP just didn't work for obvious reasons.
The tablet is the best format for magazines, hopefully enough of them will still be around to make the transition. I would replace the 120 pounds of dusty, smelly gaming magazines in my game room with a file in a heart-beat. If I were a magazine property holder (like Steve Harris and EGM) I'd be scanning and selling complete libraries of my old magazines). I know Playboy, MAD and Rolling Stone have dabbled in this area in the past, but that was pdf's and on a PC -- just wasn't the right format.
