A bio mutated abomination that should have never existed.

I thought Revelation had a much simpler structure than RE5, because of it initially being designed on the 3ds. They did a great job with the limitations, but I still have to give the edge to RE5.

It does, and its simplicity is one of the reason it works, unlike RE5 which is a convoluted mess.

If RE5 is a convoluted mess than what is RE6?

I wouldn't know because I'm not stupid enough to play it. WinkWink

You are missing out foolz, such a great combat system.

So I put another 10 hours into this game. I think all the extra modes are better than the main campaign, it's quite addicting and has so much content. For $25 it's so worth it.

This is literally what I did through most of RE6....you can just run through the endless hordes of shitty enemies:

Whatever, RE6s combat is amazing, when the game lets you do the combat and doesn't try a bunch of weird shit.

A great combat system in a game you used to defend the structure of RE5 is not a very good sell. Nyaa

What about the re5 structure? RE5 is RE4, there is no need to defend anything.

Are you saying the structure is identical (I agree obviously it's based on RE4, though, but that doesn't mean they're the same) or as good? However, when I said the structure in RE5 was a convoluted mess, you said: "If RE5 is a convoluted mess than what is RE6?", implying to someone who thinks the RE5 structure sucks that RE6 has an even worse structure. So telling that person after you've implied the structure is awful that they're missing out just because it has great combat is bad salesmanship.

RE5 would be a great game, if they cut Sheva out of the gameplay. Simple as that. They need to re-release this game without her affecting the gameplay.

And this is every game since then. Gotta have that co-op!

If there's one thing that The Evil Within showed, its that Mikami would not have ruined Resident Evil's feeling of being alone and sense of dread for fucking coop!

Notice over the past 10 years how many of the great Japanese companys lost their top talent to smaller studios and went downhill faster than an obese man on fire?

Things seem to be picking up again for this game. Gamespot gave Episode 3 an 8.

RE6 is insane, totally insane. I think you would like it just cause the game tries something different every hour and some of it is so bad you may get a kick out of it. But when you simply get to shoot shit it is really fun.

Claire Episode 3 is a masterpiece, I am blown away. I can't believe it is the same game. Puzzles, locked doors, countdown timers and a super awesome boss battle. That was over 2 hours of concentrated awesome. That alone put this over Revelations 1. Every RE fan needs this game.

Yeah, that was what I thought going by descriptions of it, but it just looks plain awful on YouTube videos. Not all games look good in playthroughs I suppose.

Yes, it makes me wonder how Nintendo has such good job retention rates. I think Sakurai is the only high profile developer that I know of that has left and he still works with Nintendo anyway.
