Yeah both the free and the paid DLC are great IMO. Bunch of QoL stuff, especially the increased storage. My wife had started to litter the whole place with clothing she ran out of room to stash.
Vendors at Harv's keep the same stock until they visit you, so it can be a few days before they change.
I love the new cooking stuff. Too bad Kapp'n hasn't taken me to a wheat island.

Animal crossing has gone next level. There are so many new items with many customised variations.
I bought a tablet, looks like a Microsoft surface home screen. But you can have different colours and different screens like graphs or zoom calls. Bottom line, you can make an Apple shop or PC shop with a multi-screen gaming pc too.
Also, I just ordered a full sized truck to complement the full sized cars and yacht I bought.

Monster Hunter Rise just came out with new screen filters. I thought that was kind of dumb at first until I actually saw them. One of them is a cinematic black and white filter, and it basically makes the game look like an old Kurosawa samurai movie. Pretty damn cool looking. Unfortunately those filters are a PC exclusive.

Anyhow my extra mannequins arrived and I dressed them in Southwestern Ralph Lauren style patterns.
Now if I combine a few choice items with Western themed stuff and a cash register, I have my own RRL shop.

There's some great new items on nook Miles. Lots of theme park stuff too. Naturally I already bought everything.
I like Harvs Island now that the vendors are there, although a couple of them had the same stock for two days in a row.
Brewsters is a nice relaxing time waster.
The first person camera mode is awesome, unfortunately you can't rotate your viewpoint. But the game works in first person and the graphics hold up. Feels like being truly inside the game.
I can see myself checking out the museum super in depth in first person.
