I think Mario Party 2 was the peak of that series. Would have been a lot better if the AI characters actually had AI though.
Mario Party 2 was my favorite too. I may download that for the kiddo. I think he'd get a kick out of it, but I can't remember how much reading it requires.
The only reading I recall was in the rules for each game. I just flipped through the instruction manual and it doesn't look like much reading is required. Don't know how many of those games would convert to the Wii-mote and Nunchuck -- hopefully it supports Classic controller.

Why is Frobot poor? Nintendo Life gave it 9/10. Granted they often overrate games but that tends to be the 7 range of scores for games that should get less, not so much what they rate as great games being crap. At least from what I've seen, I don't follow them a lot. The site is down atm though, I saw the score on metacritic.

nintendolife is a site for fanboys that hype up reviews, and its a Corbie Dillard 3/4 of his reviews this year have all been 8 or 9 and for a review this fast just shows that its a joke, there is a demo for anyone that wants to try it, i got bored on stage 2
I wouldn't totally knock Nintendolife. THey do get too generous, but usually by only a point or 2. Agnates math is probably right, the game would likely score around a 7 or 8 somewhere else. Still they're usually the only big site to ever review WiiWare so I always take a look at the review and usually by reading the review and not the score you can still get an idea if the game is any good.
And for you trivia buffs, Nintendolife is also the only website where I ever got into an arguement with a reviewer and successfully made him back down and rethink the score.
like i said i dislike Corbie's reviws he giving away 8 and 9's like they are candy this year
but then again my hate for nintendolife is mostly that they banned me after disagreeing with Corbie's 9 on 2 games and for calling super meat boy, super sell outboy a few months back, the meatboy thing is what pissed them off with me. i got a e mail saying" how dare you call anyone sellouts we do this web site out of are love for nintendo
