Yeah it's a good little time waster. And like you said I'm still not entirely sure what all of the fight commands do. Still it's fun, though I really wish I could identify exactly which friends I was playing against.

I didn't get to play anyone. The groups were always blank, except for a split second where I entered Leo's game right before he quit

I think the hammer hood meditates for a round, then heals... If I read it right...

It's worth reading the in-game manual to see what each character can do and what all the battle cards mean. After I started familiarizing myself with what everyone can do the game suddenly got a lot more fun. The Chimera is particular cool if you know what he can do.
