One WiiWare game and no Virtual Console at all? Jesus.

Reminds me of an interesting blog a day or two ago about how from this point on we're going to see a sharp decline in the number of good WiiWare games.  For the most part all of the high profile WiiWare games have been released and nothing new has been announced.  Since very few have gone on to be big sellers most are moving on to other projects and some are abandoning them all together.  At this point only the only big exclusives announced are La-Mulana, Bit.Trip Flux and maybe NightSky assuming it hasn't been abandoned.  Super Meatboy also showed a valuable lesson to a lot developers of how it can be better to proceed with making the game the way they want to rather than try to meet Nintendo's requirements.

Anyway it's too soon for the panic button, but if this week is any kind of sign.... the days of looking forward to the Nintendo Downloads are done for quite a while.

Why keep posting these but not XBLA/PSN releases? Why not just post when something interesting releases?

For upcoming titles there's always La-Mulana, FAST, MotoHeroz, Plain Sight, Bit.Trip.Flux and other such stuff.

I'm especially surprised by just how awesome MotoHeroz looks now, the early screenshots were horrible.

Although they have said no tilt controls which kinda sucks, the remote's tilt is accurate without M+.
