Yeah I really like the game as well. It's a shame that the online is the way it is. I've played nearly 50 online matches and still have generally good games. I chose White Lotus btw.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I may have lost most of those matches, but that was a blast!
Your variety of fighters is pretty impressive, Vader!
I will admit that my buddy not showing over the weekend made me kinda sad and made me not want to look at the game for a little while, but now that I know just how good you're getting, Imma have to play more!

Sweet! I will be on tomorrow
Can't decide on whom I want to play as the most. They are all great in ways... and then throw in the variations...
First I thought Ermac. I thought it was he who I liked the most in 2011... I think I am wrong though... I think I confused him with Noob Saibot.
Then I thought Kung Lao... I used him a lot in almost every MK since II...
I also used Shang Tsung quite a bit too, but he's not an option... **yet?**
I used Kenshi sparingly in 2011, I like his style...
Haven't tinkered with the kids too much. Nor have I really tried the newer characters other than at random.
Never really was a fan of Cage or Sonya...
Quan Chi? Maybe, but have no real experience with him...
I avoid Sub-Zero and Scorpion because they are like the Ken and Ryu of the game to me...
HMMM... I need to settle and practice!! I DON'T LIKE LOSING!!
Just played several matches with my nephew... He beat me with a brutality! Once. Only once. Still. I'm getting old.
I am in love with this game now. Every character is interesting, I spend tons of time just learning each character and their different styles. The fatalities are easily the best in the series. The combat is fast, fun, intense, and accessable with tons of room to master.
I finished the story mode yesterday and loved it. The story really comes together by the end. They actually spend time developing stories, the cage story on particular was well done. I do miss having boss fights and unique team battles to mix things up though, yeah some were cheap but that is part of MK history, cheap bosses.
If only online was working well, as of now it’s a bit of a mess. The faction war works like 20% of the time, most of the time you can’t access it. I also miss having a direction for your single player with that giant challenge tower of the last game, in this game it’s all about randomized towers which is not as interesting.
This is easily the best MK game from a gameplay standpoint. I Prefer the feature set of the last one but it’s still close. Oh and this game is gorgeous!
