Totally got choked up on that one. NOT a game for kids.
PS: I've swapped discs ONCE. Just did the Cerberus/Citadel/Udina thingee and started to actively do side-quests.

When the only choices people have to play are Angry Birds Kart and Mafia Wars 3, people will regret their ridiculous demands and ungrateful tantrums.
I actually hope they don't make anymore Mass Effect games. Leave it as it was supposed to be, and don't milk the shit out of it for 10 more years. But I'm sure they will. Its too popular to let go.
I seriously doubt people complaining about their design choices will make them or anyone else suddenly not want to make these types of games anymore. Truth be told, I haven't paid much attention to any of it except for what I've read on this website. To me, I can totally understand not liking the ending (s) at all because I myself found the end to simply be pretty mediocre compared to the rest of the franchise and didn't offer much in the way of closure or did it really tie up any loose ends. But, most endings in videogame history have sucked, honestly. That said, I did expect more from the ending of THIS game, because of how progressively story-driven this franchise was. When it comes to a first-person shooter like Halo, its much more forgivable for it to have a shitty ending.
I said games "like" Mass Effect. I originally expected (and would be fine with) ME3 being the last in the series. Don't know if anyone remembers this or not --BUT-- a few weeks before launch, BioWare --DID-- advise players to save their Save Game files. I'm not sure I want to know what that means YET.
ALSO -- what happened to the $800.00 dollars worth of DLC they were talking up before launch too? How much of that is Story? How much of it is Ending? They've suddenly gotten all quiet about that.
Mass Effect 3, the final game in a series that sells extremely well. Published by EA? Good luck with that.

The vast majority of people hate the ending, don't they? Then it succeeds in its theme!

Just watch. DLC and the inevitable sequel(s) will sell just as well. In a couple of games time it will become a FPSer, and be the new FPS style to copy. There will be Mass Effect clones left right and centre taking over from the CoD clones.
/Pachter.
Just met Jenna from Chora's Den, right along-side Conrad Verner! BioWare is --FUCKING-- incredible! They leave NO STONE UNTURNED, THEY LEAVE NO LOOSE ENDS... EVERYTHING I'VE DONE IN THE PAST GAMES IS SHOWING UP IN THIS ONE ! ! !

Refresh me on this one.
I forgot to mention this way back while I was playing ME2 but the Quarians have the greatest collection of voice actors ever. That is one well spoken race.
Conrad Verner was the Shepard wanna be from ME1 and 2.
Jenna was a former waitress working undercover for C-Sec in ME1. Her sister asked Shepard to get her sister to quit to keep her out of Danger...
EVERY. LAST. MINUTE. DETAIL ! ! !
Only ONE thing concerns me: I (apparently) waited too long to go to Grissom Academy and the students were either killed or fled. I had NO IDEA there was a time limit on missions!! I --LOVED-- The Overlord storyline in ME2. I was hoping to find David Archer when I went to the Academy. I'll be SUPER PISSED if I missed the opportunity!
Time to start a petition and break out the cupcake batter!

Oh man you missed that. That was one of my favorite missions of the entire game. What happened in your mission? I love Jack in this game.
phantom_leo said:I haven't MET Jack!
I can't seem to find Miranda either!!
Dont worry about Miranda. Jack is from that mission, seriously one of the best missions of the entire game. Go back to an old save and do it, just to see it, then go back to where you are now. Dont worry about how it would effect the story cause... yeah.
Man I cannot wait for you to get to the end Leo. When I say the end sucks I mean the final final scene. The end of the "game" is incredible and will have you so emotional.
I stopped playing about 40 minutes ago...
...and there's no chance of me going back to the Jack mission. I keep only one save and Traynor told me of the Academy being attacked and the kids fleeing a while ago.
Come to think of it, I NEVER see you online on Live...
HOLY. CRAP.
I just tried to look up to see if there was an opportunity to meet up with Jack later on...
If you don't do Grissom before the coupe on The Citadel...
...something bad happens to Jack...
...something really, REALLY bad...
WHY. THE. FUCK. DIDN'T. THEY. TELL. ME. THERE. WAS. A. TIME. LIMIT ? ! ?
Wow. Well something to look forward to on your next playthrough. Now I am curious to see how that plays out in your game.
