**The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition**
I had to revive this topic. After all, the 360 seems to be the only HD console worth owning at the moment. We have reached the stage in the current generation where attention is turning towards the future. There are still some great games coming out, but in order for there to be launch titles for next-gen, devs are starting to work on 720, Wii U and PS4 games now. In the meantime, publishers need cash. They will spend their budgets on making games for the largest installed user base (360) and then cheaply commission ports to the other system out there (PS3). After Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and the Silent Hill "HD" Collection, it's EASY to see, PS3 is no longer a priority. Publishers just don't care enough to bring their games over to a system that won't bring in as much cash. After getting burned one too many times, I broke my own rule of owning too much stuff and got the 360 back. I should have known what was going to occur from past generations experience and the mis-steps of Sony this generation, but I did a rash thing late last year and got rid of it. Boy do I regret that!
*Fez*
I tried to love Sony's Skyrim. It took 4 months to "fix." Mass Effect 3... after playing 2 a second time through on the PS3, including ALL of the DLC content... I was looking forward to the last chapter on PS3. Again, no fix in sight. I gladly bought ME2 (again) on 360 and ALL the DLC. I will now play all of it, and probably finish ME3 on 360 before BioWare gets it's PS3 act together!
*Skulls of the Shogun*
On a more positive note, the 360 just has certain games that are unavailable anywhere else that I REALLY, REALLY missed: The Treasure Collection, GREAT Tower defense games (Orcs Must Die! and Iron Brigade), Super Meat Boy and The Dishwasher... The 16-bit lover in me could NOT pass up the side-scrolling goodness of Sine Mora, most of all! The exclusive games that are coming soon trump everything else also: The Witcher 2 on disc, Skulls of the Shogun, Minecraft and Fez on the Download side... and HOW THE HELL could I resist The Monster World Collection which includes the previously unreleased (in the West) Monster World 4?!
**The Vintage Sega Collection: Monster World. You can Thank me Later, Vader!**
The only hard part for me now is keeping track of which games coming out in the future will truly be best on which system. Quantum Conundrum (shame on you if you don't know already) is the next game from one of the primary developers of Portal 2. I am assuming it is going to be native PC and 360 and then ported to PS3. Disc based games that I am planning to buy that are on both; there's really only a few. Dragon's Dogma has been shown running on PS3 almost entirely, so that should be an easy one there. BioShock Infinite, if history repeats itself will be better on 360. The opposite should be true for Darksiders 2...
**Quantum Conundrum**
If you are interested, keep your eyes peeled here and I'll try to share my information and experiences! No one should have to settle for bad ports in this day and age, and I will be posting here so that you don't have to!
**To Be Continued...**
For a while there, I was posting in my Downloadable Games topic exclusively because I wasn't planning on getting any more 360 disc-based games. It is in that topic that I first started watching Shoot Many Robots and Skulls of the Shogun, among other games. I originally said I was going to keep this topic dormant and use that one for my 360 posts... What can I say? Times change!
One last thing! As a reminder, and to show there are some games worth watching and waiting for... How many of you have forgotten about Project Draco (aka Panzer Dragoon 360)...? I certainly have NOT! It is now known as Crimson Dragon and it would be NUMBER ONE on my list of Coming Soon games --IF-- I knew it was coming soon! Unfortunately, there's very little information on it at this point! Here's a screen to drool over! Watch this topic for any information I come across!
I was actually expecting more of a response to Quantum Conundrum (being Portal 2's spiritual successor)... I was kinda thinking you would know about Project Draco/Panzer 360/Crimson Dragon already. The Monster World Collection is something I've been hearing rumbles about lately but nothing totally substantial yet. We'll have to wait and see!

WTF? How did I not know about this?
Is that not available on PSN?? Probably not.... we just get shit like Journey.
Crimson Dragon video. Poor Quality, but that's all I could find. You get the idea!
Oh, well THAT'S interesting! There's an Alex Kidd Collection coming too! That collection has Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Super Hang-On and REVENGE OF SHINOBI ! ! !
Go Go Sega REVIVAL ! ! !
WAIT...?! There are TWO classic SEGA collections coming... AND NEITHER OF THEM INCLUDES A SONIC GAME ? ! ?
Beelzebub is ice-skating on the frozen lakes of HELL right now!

Not anymore, Sega's new structure requires Sonic to appear in every game.
Steel? Was it you that played Anomaly Warzone Earth? I thought someone here had mentioned it before and spoke very highly of it...
The game gets to be a lot more intricate than you would think. You gain powers to evaporate water, jellify water, put out fires, amplify the breath, etc... You start to encounter Trees that burst into Flames and Trees that retain and release Water. The flame trees dry out wet areas and evaporate water. The water trees release a huge amount of water when they encounter fire. Putting a fire tree next to a village to dry the stream that is constantly flooding it, may seem like a good idea... until the fire tree starts to burn the village's vegitation. Putting a water tree barrier between a village and some fire trees may seem like a good idea, until they all burst at once, flooding your village. Everything needs to be kept in perfect balance, as it is in Nature... 'cept YOU'RE playing as the Deity that controls nature!
You get explosive trees later to break formerly unbreakable earth. You need to manage the repel water spells to counter the floods of the Water Trees... and just wait until you reach the "Breathing" Earth! Yeah, there are areas where the earth expands and contracts as if it were built on the giant chest of a god or beast... Tides come and go... where you place your water trees is vital. At one point they may be below a village, protecting its crops from fire, the next moment, they may be above the village, waiting to pop and flood the people below!
I'm about half way thru the story (I think) and it introduces new concepts every chapter. The game is totally intriguing! As you do better and better on the story maps, the game gives you Challange Maps to play on, increasing the playability 100-fold! Yes, there's even a map called Xuaenylom, as a tribute to their source of inspiration, which I thought was rather cool!
