I never even used the snow boots myself nor have I gotten the sand boots either. I just ran around on foot, climbed up and paraglide around, or just teleport to shrines and towers. Haven't even used horses or sand seals. I guess I just enjoy running around in Hyrule.

I wouldn't mind doing that if there was endless stamina and no need to hold the b button. This game needs an xcx autorun. Your running is so slow in snow too. Horses are useless in mountains too. I did have a homer Simpson moment when I remembered you could shield surf down the mountains bit that's only for slopes.
My phone always writes bit instead of but.

Well, thought I'd give an update on my progress. I'm a measily 25-30 hours in myself. I've done the Zora domain quest, and just started doing stuff in the Goron area yesterday. Too much lava. I never like lava levels much, and I don't feel it fits the Gorons really. I dDid a shrine but had to abandon halfway through because I didn't have any more regular arrows. 
I've decided to go looking for that large Korok first so I can exchange my Korok Turds for more inventory space. I also want to buy me that house so I can drop off rare weapons there, but I'm finding it hard to save up enough cash without wanting to grind for it. Oh, and I slayed 2 Igneo Talus's yesterday. That was pretty cool.

You can only store a couple of melee weapons, couple of shields and bows. It's not really worth it till you are cash rich. Better to find fat korok. He's on a road to haetano village I think then found at stables up to a certain point.Oh yeah if you run low on arrows or iron hammers during a shrine just reload you Las save

Yeah I got the gist of it, did a quick look around at that time of day but didn't really notice anything. To be fair though I didn't really try that hard and just kind of left it to go wander off elsewhere. I'll go back to it later on.

That one was easy. What about the heart shaped clue? I haven't tried the one that GG is stuck in yet.

Oh, I did that one a long time ago. 
It's reminiscent of something from OoT, to boot, so it's not like I haven't done it before.
Seriously, though, the Rito says that the rock will point. Well, I looked where it was pointing, and it's just pointing toward a bunch of empty waters and an island so far off in the distance that it's not even in the game world.
Yeah I really enjoyed the desert beast.
