Just another victory Melbourne has had over Sydney. It might be a small one but they all count.

Melbourne is so much better than Sydney though.  Melbourne has all the victories in my book.  Except for maybe all the snakes.... those are bad.  But still in Robio's book of all that is good and right in the world, Melbourne fucking rocks.

Agreed 100%!

But we have MORE snakes than Sydney, so that's obviously still a victory in our books.

Have you seen a venomous snake in the wild? Like a taipan or some weird shit like that? You should have one as a pet.

A baby copper head.

I would have wrestled it to the ground and taken it home to tame, but it swam away.

(I didn't want to follow it into the creak and get killed by a sting ray!)

And while we're on the subject was Paul Hogan a superstar too?  Because really they're pretty much the only well known Aussies in this country.

I wouldn't call him a superstar, but he was more well known than Paul Hogan. Basically some people like his show someone, then after the crocodile incident everyone hated, then after his death everyone loved him.

Paul Hogan might've been popular before his contribution last contribution to cinema was an ACA interview on tax evasion.

That's what I figured about good ole Paul.  I asked a few people when I visited back in 2000 and got plenty of nasty looks so I figured maybe now it was safe enough to ask again.

By that I mean not necessarily that he's hated due to the tax evasion, but that he hadn't really done anything since Crocodile Dundee which as far as I can tell was more popular in America than Australia.

He could well have been more popular in the 70s or 80s here when he had his sketch show.

Plus people are annoyed with him because now people think Australians are like him. Which is false, we're really like Steve Irwin.

You poor Austrailian bastards. If I lived there I would go into hibernation and never come out.

^I've seen many Brown Snakes, which are just as bad.  Stepped on two of them.  You think they are sticks... then they move.  Then your bowels move.

Then the brown snakes move up your bowels. Then you realise the brown snakes are actually your own turds.

What? That's like everywhere else.

"Milk bags are common in several countries and regions of the world, including Argentina, Nicaragua, Eastern Canada, China, Colombia, Hungary, India, Israel, Montenegro, Poland, South Africa, Uruguay and Wisconsin"

ah- you're an easterner. Don't see those out here.

Fuck Canada.  Move to Boise.  I will buy you a beer.  Free beer is more important than Canada.

What I like best about Idaho is that Napoleon Dynamite was filmed there.

I'd still rather move to Melbourne though.

Go to Boise and drink all that free beer. Then move here since getting a new liver is cheaper.
