Those were some good matches last night, Bear and Travo. Hope to play some more tonight as well. Last night was my first Gears online experience. It was pretty hectic, and I struggled to keep alive. I hope to become a bit better with time.

Your UC2 Experience carried you well. It's not that different. But the other team had better weapons and players that can be frustrating. I did earn a few upgrades, if you guys would put your headsets on we could work a lot better together, the teams that do really well, they are communicating.

Everyone always has access to the same weapons, there are no upgrades to earn. Just press start to go to the options menu and select Multiplayer. Here you can change your starting weapons to Retro Lancer or Lancer for your rifle and Gnasher or Sawed-off for shotguns. There's also a quick select while playing. When you've been killed and waiting to respawn press the A button then you can change your rifle and shotgun by pressing left or right on the d-pad. Also you can press and hold the LB button while in-game which shows you exactly where your teammates are and what they are doing as well as weapon locations. This is especially useful in Capture the Leader because the leader can see both friendlies and enemies.

No we did not use the mic, but we should, hmm seems there are some weapons I don't have access to Archie , a sniper, some kind of ripper exploding blade and a few others.Maybe they are laying around? Have to learn the maps, though I know one of them is from the past game.

All the other weapons ie Sniper, Digger, grenades, ect. spawn at set locations on the maps. It shows you the whole map layout and the weapon locations before each game plus you can see the map again while you're waiting to respawn by pressing the B button. Each round the weapons switch so where the sniper rifle spawns in round one it will change to say the Torque bow in round two then sniper again in round three. Everyone starts with Retro/Lancer, Gnasher/Sawed-off, smoke grenades, and standard pistol. All other weapons are map pick-ups.
