OK... now I feel violated... I often find myself getting aroused by Baird!
He's just so... blonde... and potty-mouthed... and naughty...!
He reminds me of someone I know...
He also has my little chin thingee too!
Soul-patch... Chesterfield... whatever you wanna call it...
I call Baird when we play online!
Maybe I could catch you online tomorrow. I'll shoot you a message.
I just finished a crazy boss battle in Act 4 and I'm finally on the last act. The beginning has some of the most gorgeous visuals I've ever seen in a game. When you get to this part, you'll know what I mean. Good stuff.
OMG!! Good games there, Archie. They really turned up the heat on wave 50. I'm not sure it would be worth ten gamer points. I quit talking halfway through because I think my mic shorted out. I'm micless now.
Leo, I'm glad I got to play a couple of deathmatches with you. My dream would be to have you, Bear, and Archie on one team soon.
I'd be up for some Horde or Beast mode tonight if anyone is interested. Maybe even some co-op campaign. Where is Bear? Bear?......Bear?
I am in final third of the game. My impressions:
- For the first time in one of these sci-fi games I actually know what the hell is going on story wise.
- It is visually interesting, but there are some things Epic is trying that really strain what the 360 can do given the limitation of running the game on a disc. Even so, it looks great.
- I loved Gears 1, thought 2 topped it and this one tops them both.
- But, all the Cogs are dumber thatn in prior games. Especially Cole. And if you thought his "Maria" of the game was sentimental, Hallmark has a few million cards you might like buy also.
- Some of the levels in this game, like The Gate are directly copied and pasted from prior Gears games. I don;t know if this is good fan service or the opposite,
- Man are they ramping up the vehicle sections in the middle and final part of these games.
- The Queens guard are pretty cool. The tall dudes in tranch coats.
- It is a hard game to stop playing.
Too bad it looks like Epic is giving up on making games and just sticking to their engines.
I was also Baird for a minute or two.
