Cover Feature: Resistance 3 (Yawn).Still a PS3 Exclusive, game looks utterly dull.

Other features:

- They show the design evolution of Cole from Infamous.  Classic Cole is back, the designer says the changed Cole was a "stupid mistake on some level"

- Interview with Ninja Theory on Dante's new look and taking over Devil May Cry. They don't really say anything new, though they said they'd be doing the same mo-cap stuff as with their other games.

- Feature on how game developers scare players in horror games, covering, suprise spooks, solitary confinement, sound design, macabre imagery, scary looking bosses, unpredictability, running from dangre and under-powering the player.

- Intrview with Spider-Man: Shattered developers.

- Interview with Akiko Ito about Mega Man Universe - god this game looks bad. "As you may or may not know Mega Man isn't selling as well as we would like overseas despite the fact that it sells quite well in Japan.  We're not focussed on one territory with Mega Man anymore with Mega Man Universe.  Our core objective and main purpose in creating this is to link fans and players around the world.  By allowing players to create their own stages and to customize their own Mega Man they can communicate with each otherthrough the game and also through the internet.  We will be developing and facilitating internet communities of playrs and fans." -- sounds as bad as it looks.

- Minecraft article.

- Feature on Tengen - I actually learnt something, which is rare when it comes to gaming history.

- Top Ten gaming moustaches. #1 Mike Haggar, #2 Dr Wily, #3 Landon Ricketts, #4 Old Snake and so on...

- Interview with Treyarch's Mark Lamia. Doesn't say anything new. They ask him about Move and Kinect, "I think there is a place for gesture-based movement in the [FPS] genre; we do it with the Wii version of COD. I can tell you that we did  not consider Wii, Move or Kinect for Black Ops, and we have no plans for that."

- Feature (or large ad really) for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

- Feature on The Last Guardian

Reviews (australian scores, US may vary)

Star Wars TFU2 7.75 "...shadow of it's former self. The graceful gameplay offers a higher level of excitement, but the plot and characterisation makes this experience one of 2010's biggest disappointments."

International Cricket 2010 7.25 - PS3/360

Civ 5 9.75

Sonic 4 8 "It may not be the all end all game that professed enthusiasts like myself have been waiting 15 years for, but Sonic 4 is fun, frenetic download for fans and newcomers alike" (what horrible writing).

Vanquish 7.75 (half-page review) "fun toy in a forgettable world"

Layton 3 8.25 "worth it for fans to jump back into a world where you can't walk five steps without finding a puzzle to solve."

Rock Band 3 - 9.25 "culmination of harmonix's efforts to bring music to the masses [but also] a new chapter in the franchise that begins the merging of real and game-based music.

Super Scribblenauts - 8.75

Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light - 6 "...isn't glitchy or broken, but that's the highest compliment I can muster."

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - 9 "takes a few hours to get rolling but once it sinks it's fangs in you'll be absorbed."

Medal of Honor - 7 "EA must try harder to stand out."

F1 2010 - 8.5

Enslaved - 7 "...the gameplay being such an unwanted distraction, the story is the only attraction...[which] ultimately serves as a slave to mediocre gameplay for 8 to 9 hours."

DJ Hero 2 - 9 "Sequel that has improved in every aspect across the board."

NBA Jam - 8.25 (Wii) "i'd love to see the full game ported to the other consoles so we could challenge our friends online..."

Wii Party - 4 "Nintendo dumbed down and removed the soul from a franchise that was already as stupid and soulless as Mario Party" -- you think maybe this reviewer came into the review with some biases?

NBA2K11 - 8.75 "impressive package"

I may have to pick this issue up sadly enough, to get my hands on that horror article. Looks like I'll be doing that panel again come May, but I'm going to need new material for it.

Yeah, that's why I detailed it, with you in mind. It's a 2 or 3 pager I think.

I believe GG means in the General Discussion part of the News Tab. You don't have to post news there. That is the Main "Forum" of the site. Most of our daily discussions take place there.
