Here is the deal, and none of this is hyperbole.

  • it's so hot that touching a chair,  or antyhting is actaully warm to the touch.
  • so hot that if you don;t drink a beer pulled from the FREEZER in 2 minutes, it;s warm
  • Cats won't shit. It's that hot.
  • My breezeway feels like a convenction oven.
  • so hot you can;' go nude, you have to wear underwear to absorb the heat.
  • your theory about running a bath? it's so hot that the "cold" runs hotter than warm.

42 (around 107 F for anyone else in the US) degrees huh? That's nuts. WHen I lived in Dallas, we'd have a two week stretch each summer that the heat would be around there. It was just miserable. Even at night it wouldn't drop below 26 (80F). It was just impossible to cool off. I feel your pain. That's why I now live in a more humid, but much more pleasant tropical climate.
