Noo ps now doesn’t allow screenshots. So this is clearly a PC game, these controls are horrendous. Everything is in menus, order your troops hold L1, the press dpad to select action while aiming with r stick and patting your head with the other hand. Want to change ammo types hold square to bring up the ammo menu, use dpad to select, press x to change, oh you are probably dead by now.
Omg you can’t look around while driving in first person. What is this shit. Order an air strike, hold triangle for strike menu, use dpad to.. You get the idea. Nothing works, where is the air strike. This battlefield is huge, where is everyone.
I blew up a radio tower, it just blinked out of existence with a small explosion, lol. Now to defend a waypoint, map is big, wow. issuing orders is impossible!!! There are menus within menus within menus all real time, so many commands. Formations, who gives a shit if a move in a column. Guys firing at me from afar, let me take 5 minutes to find the give suppressing Fire command. Oh who cares , I ran up to the enemy and shot them in the head.
Nope can’t do this anymore. I guess this is some really tactical army sim but it plays terribly.
Would be better with a dragon.
For my third game we got Rocketbords: Hardboiled Chicken. I mean come on, with a title like that how can I not try it.
So,e weird indie rock music is playing in the title screen, so you play a badass chicken in the army, it has cartoon graphics and is 2D. This music is so strange, this does not match the action at all.
Chickens strapped to rockets!!!! With machine guns! My chicken is shooting In slo mo at the other rocket chickens. And I landed and lost my rocket.
So it begins, nice animation. I have a handgun, I can roll around, crouch, etc. oh shit I just shot a chicken to death, blood and feathers everywhere, lol. Movement is kind of stiff, all actions seem to have weight to them.
I am in some enemy base. I just pressed a red button and it fired a nuke, lol. Got a trophy for that. Had to drag a box to reach something. Wow this is so slow paced, contra this is not. You can’t aim up or diagonally either.
Cutscene of evil chicken “I will kill him, then I will eat him!” Now the action ramped up. Blood splatters on the wall as you shoot chickens. They come one or two at a time, you simply unload on them, they get stunned then die. Not much to the action.
Next stage I got my rocket and now I am flying in the air, x to boost around, now it feels like a bad twin stick shooter. It’s just one screen with waves of enemies very slowly coming out, pretty bad.
I’m down with this, gameplay is pretty bad, it’s funny to look at for a minute. Meh.

Playing 15 minutes of random games. Pay attention.
so the one week free trail for PS Now subscription service is up, it is 100 games. It works really well. I am playing Ratchet into the nexus.
As the week goes on I will try random games for a few minutes and share my thoughts on them.
First up The Raven: legacy of a master thief . Wtf? I am writing this as I play. Menu has some old timey movie music. “Hint: always take a look at every available object” lol. The theme song ain’t bad. Takes place in the 60s, cg is cartoony. A museum is about to be robbed by the raven! Shit two guards just died by an explosion, that was unexpected. The raven escaped with the jewel!
Now on a train, I really like this music, very much old school movie score. Graphics are worst than a telltale game. I guess I play a cop, a kid is talking to me and I can ask questions. i can’t use the dpad to navigate the menus, this game sucks.
So I am a stubborn constable that gets no respect. There is a famous detective on the train that I am trying to impress. And I am now in control, you walk around and look at stuff, there is an inventory, classic adventure game stuff. Wow the controls are stiffer than GME in a whore factory. There is a neat notebook covering your goals and who everyone is.
Shady professor is shady! Oh no his compartment is locked, first puzzle. Some baroness needs a purse before I can talk to her. Got a trophy for turning on a radio. So you walk around, talk to people and grab items. It’s an adventure game all right.
“Hint if you are not making any progress take a break and relax” lol. So an inspector is laying bait for the raven On the train. And to prove your worth you need to check on all the suspicious people.
Well it seems like an ok adventure game, can’t really say much about it.
