Here's an idea; How about we post videos or screenshots of great games from the past that either were very underappreciated and/or didn't get the respect they deserved.

I'll start out with a game I posted the other day, and that game is The Thing based off of the classic horror movie of the same name. This game is a total cult classic...I don't remember it selling very well but IMO it was right up there with the best horror games of the decade, and had some really innovative ideas about using a squad and getting people to trust you enough to follow you. It was developed by a company called Computer Artworks whom I've never heard of before or after that I can think of, for the Xbox, PS2, and PC. It was released in 2002.

I played like twenty minutes of that at a friend's house about ten years ago.  If it was on PSN. I would certainly download it.

I played a fair bit of this at my cousin's. In the middle of the night when everyone else was asleep.

It helped wind me down so that I could also sleep.

This game is kind of crappy but good crappy. One of the first DC games, so cool at the time.

A Sega classic that has been forgotten. It got a sequel but I never played it, the first game was pretty awesome.

I played Deadly Premonition, The Thing and Blue Stinger. All good ones.

Umm... I'd being back:

It was Rocksteady's game before they became the Arkham studio.

Headhunter....remember hearing about it, but never played it. It still looks pretty good actually. Why did I think this game was also on N64? What game am I thinking of?

Deadly Premonition....That's another one I've never gotten a chance to play. These days they are SO many games and I have so much less time to play them, that there's a million games in this category for me now. Back in the day it was much more of a surprise to have missed something.

Urban Chaos I always figured wasn't too good for some reason. I didn't know it was made by the Batman guys.

Oh and Blue Stinger...I alwys thought of that as a really poor Resident Evil ripoff?

IMO, other than the cinematics, Headhunter was better than MGS. It even had a little GTA in it before GTA3
