I can't count too many memorable moments, but in 2006 when Sony showed off the 6-axis it was awesome because you pretty much hear a pin drop with everyone going, "WTF, they're ripping off Nintendo?"
And I suppose back in 98 or 99 I of enjoyed reading about how Nintendo was randomly tossing out Pokemon plushes every hour on the hour and people were getting trampled while trying to catch them all. That's probably Dark Robio speaking though.

I thought the unveiling was in 2005 with all the CG trailers and it looked bloody awesome. Yeah that was a great conference, when I first saw the Killzone 2 trailer I was like OMG!
I think 2006 was the painful reality. It was the aftermath that was funny, having giant crab and massive damage immortalised in game texts for instance. Or there was this sound file page where you clicked Kaz quotes from his Ridge Racer presentation.
Miyamoto coming out with a sword and sheild was cool, can't remember the year.

My worst memory has to be when Miyamoto brought out Pacman at the E3 conference and brought out gbas and link cables connected to the GC and claimed it was the future or some crap. Whoa, that was bad and scary.
Oh man, that was Nintendo's most embarrassing E3 conference. It was so bad, Iwata had to clap after every announcement and demo to get the audience to follow cause everyone was like, "WTF?"
My favorite moment has to be:
Reggie was all downhill from that moment. Where is the cool kickass Reggie?

He kicked his own ass and took his own name.

Ever since Reggie got promoted to President of NOA there was a decided change in his presentations. In all fairness at the same time, that was sort of when Nintendo sort of went nuts with the new company direction so there was already a leak in the cool, you know?
Oh, and Sony were bitches for trying to copy our glorious motion controls with their pathetic SIXAXIS, which failed miserably, I might add. Their Arc/Wand/flashlight will do no better! Mark my words!

I live here now. Just because I'm Japanese doesn't mean I have to live in Japan! Jeesh!

But...why?

I like snowball fights and cheeseburgers.
I also have a non-sexual, man-crush on Reggie.
Sony 2006 was awesome
Twilight Princess debut at E3 2004 is a reaction I don't think we'll ever see again

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile
OMG the Genji guy and Kaz saying Riiiiiiiiiiiidge Racer still cracks me up.
I dont like how that video mocked Afrika, but when Kuteragi talked about the elegant motion sensing of the sixaxis and then the video cut to the Warhawk bit Holy shit.
I was just laughing because Dvader said that Gormandy would be the focus of this Nintendo summit in the podcast And I was thinking how horrible, yet utterly hilarious it would be if that did happen.
It reminded me of E3 and some of the best and worst moments. I'm guessing that you guys watch events unfold each year.

The funniest memory is Sony's E3 2006 conference, which was just horrible, giant crabs, Kaz saying Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Racer, the huge price announcement. It was just so funny to watch the fallout, the gifs, the soundfiles.
My best E3 memory would have to be when the Twilight Princess trailer aired, wow the reaction.
