Drain Strain - These were synonyms. Drain is a synonym for Siphon, and Strain for Filter.
We have "genies" and come from a silly place - You had this one all wrong. The real clue was "a silly place". Put that in Google and the first result is the Monty Python quote it references "On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place." Camelot is the developer, and "genie" is a synonym of "djinn" which are collected by Golden Sun characters for use in battle.
68 - I thought you guys knew me better by now. 68 is the ASCII value for the letter D, which is also a Saturn/PS1 game from Acclaim.
For those who didn't know, the Chinese characters for Chun Li translate literally to Spring and Beautiful.
Great participation guys, it's a lot of fun from this end as well. I don't intend for this to be the last of these events.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI had Golden Sun immediately...
...but then I thought they were Djinns, not Genies...
...and I had NO IDEA about the "Silly Place" reference.

Mega Man!!!!! My friend had it right he said a Mega Man. I searched through so many Mega Man games, never thought of checking Powered Up. Holy crap that is some shit music.
The Resident Evil Gaiden one is hilarious. No one played that.
68, yeah I would have never gotten that one.
The genie thing was too hard, though your thought process on it wasn't far off from mine. My last guess was that "genie" was something that sounded like genie and Elton John has the song "Jeanie" where he wants her to be his acrobat. Acrobat is in a circus, a silly place, Aero the Acrobat.
SMB3 GBA!!! I searched that, wtf. I must have seen the wrong level or something. I knew it.
That last song sounded like a Game Gear game, oh well.
Nathan Drake, doh. I did have Waluigi wrong (all others correct), how did that one work?

The name Waluigi came from an anagram of igiwalui, which means "bad man" in Japanese.
BTW, how did you get Parasol? I would have wagered that to be a tough one.
