That's a description of me and Microsoft. I've been working with them for the last 13 days to figure out why I can't play online with my 360.

Turns out Silver members can't play online. It took 13 days to get to that resolution. I had no idea Silver members could not play online.  What's the point of Silver?

Not sure if I'll go back to Gold yet.

Double facepalm

Silver allows you access to basically everything except online play, such as downloading demos.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile

There's no point of Silver. Microsoft is basically holding online play hostage unless you want to pay them 50 bucks a year. Whether you should get back to gold or not depends on how much do you play online.

LOL

I've been a Silver user ever since I bought my 360; I'm okay with it since I rarely play online games. All I need MS's service for is downloading demos and XBLA games.

^Yoda, Big belly laugh. That's great.

Yeah time to figure out if I play enough online to pay $49.99. Resi5 is $49.99 right now, and I'm still waiting for the price drop, so I don't know.

LOL whats worse is when my bro has a year of gold membership and cant play online with registered friends.

Whats worse is that he and his bud paid for the wireless adds on too.

So they are like $340 down in total.

Questions like these are what message boards are for. I mean, I would have called you names first, but you would have had your answer within the hour.

I had a lot more complicated red herrings that I was looking into (like using a foreign 360 out of region).
