Ah yes, how could I forget? http://youtu.be/L-d1pPzACR0. This theme says, " Tiny Toons Adventures are about to start!"
Must be an inherited trait of the crazy people
With kids though I do find myself making up stupid lyrics to music to make my nephews laugh usually involving someone pooing or peeing on something/one.
I used to do the same thing. I did something similar with Dr. Mario but I would sing " We got to play just to make it today."
No, but I do tend to imagine all 8 and 16 bit music being performed by Joe Satriani.

Fuck yeah same here. Sometimes its even a duet between Satch & Steve Vai.
Also, some of the music in F-Zero sounds like Megadeth's Rust In Peace album.
Morbid Angel have some awesome video game inspired Keyboard tracks on their albums. This track right here called Dreaming sounds like old Castlevania or something from Blood Omen or Faery Tale.

Fuck Yeah. Saw him in concert once in LA. Amazing show.

I saw him in Boston in 1992. My first show ever.
aspro said:^Wow. That is a hard act to follow.
Yeah it was awesome. That was when he was in his prime. My next show was Rush which was great even though they were getting old at that point. Then my first metal show was Pantera on the Far Beyond Driven tour...also in their prime. Can't complain...I've seen some great shit.
I used to have a habit of making up lyrics to videogame music. Sometimes the music sounded like words or even songs I had already heard. The biggest example of this is that I swear that Nintendo owes M.C. Hammer royalties because one of the two themes in Dr. Mario sounds like " We've got to pray just to make it today." Here is the song: http://youtu.be/RsBtQCDbTWc
I've even caught my five-year old son doing this. He's heard the prologue to Windwaker so much that's he's invented silly lyrics to accompany the final flute part, " Dum-Dum-Duum on a witch's broom! Dum-Dum-Duuum on a witch's broooom!"
