Near the end of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and it's fucking epic, literally so good I would reccomend people just BUY it on bluray immediately, don't even think about it, don't rent it, just BUY it now.

The FMA manga is one of the best manga ever. Obviously animating it would make one of the best anime ever. Holy shit is King Bradley awesome!

I gave up after 8 episodes of Samurai Champloo, it just seemed like it was going nowhere and going to be the same thing each episode, rock on to some new hill billy town short of cash and looking for a pointless fight. Good music though.

Gave up on Bleach 4 episodes into season 2, WTF is this? Boring boring, boring, weird, boring.

I had the same feeling with Champloo, but keep watching the last few episodes are epic!

I am watching Code Geass. Pretty awesome it is like a cross of Death Note, Little King's Story and 1984.

Also a dude gifted me the Gantz manga. It is just the first issue, but full frontal nudity FTW.

Ah, I made a mistake, rented the wrong disc in Bleach no wonder I couldn't work out what was going on.

Code Geass And FMA pop up in virtually every top 10 anime list I've seen.

Did I mention I finished Full Metal Panic? It petered out and never lived up to it's promise in the end, the serious stuff got in the way of the comedy and it became too po-faced. Going to research what follow on series there are, see what FUMOFFU is about.

Wikipedia said:

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (フルメタル・パニック? ふもっふ Furumetaru Panikku? Fumoffu?) is a companion series to the anime series Full Metal Panic! by Kyoto Animation, and takes place between the first season and The Second Raid.
Markedly different in tone to the first series, Fumoffu emphasizes the high school romantic comedy aspects of Full Metal Panic! with often crude humor and focuses on the romantic tension between Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori. It frequently parodies itself and anime stereotypes. None of the mecha combat or political intrigue, which characterized much of the original Full Metal Panic!, can be seen in the series. The only reference to the mecha aspect of Full Metal Panic! is the Bonta-kun, which is one of the most prominent parodies in the anime.

There is bestiality? More reasons to keep on reading!

Your mistake was that you started wachting it. Stop now, before you get to invested and cannot stop anymore.

I liked Trigun. But that is about the only series I have seen besides some movies like Akira, Vampire Hunter D and Ninja Scroll.

I seen a few episodes of FMA before and it seemed kind of interesting, that is the one where his brother is in some big metal armor suit right? I might give that one a go.

There are two series. FMA was first then Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. But they are both based on the same source material. When FMA was being made the manga was not complete so it veered off in its own direction. So imagine both series as two cars on the same road, then they come to a fork in the road and go off on different journeys. FMABrotherhood is accurate to the manga and totally awesome. FMA is great too but not as good. If I was new to it I would watch FMA first then watch Brotherhood after because Brotherhood is sooooo good it will make everything else seem ordinary. There are also two movies which I mentioned earlier.

Also for movies Godmode these will please you:

  • Redline, is like an amazing Fzero movie done in a Suda 51 style
  • Summer Wars is a brilliant crowd pleaser about a computer program which takes over a massive network and an ordinary family has to fight it to save Japan
  • Steamboy is a steampunk victorian era action movie by the director of Akira, which when it starts it never stops.

Trust me. In fact, everyone should watch them.

FMA starts slower btw and you get into it. Brotherhood comes out with a bang, then follows the same path till the fuhrer enters the picture and the story grabs you by the balls and never lets go. It also has superior production values.

There is only one FMA series and that is Brotherhood. The other one is crap, don't watch it. Well it is not that bad, but with Brotherhood out, it has simply no reason to exist at all.

FMA is good even with Brotherhood out, it's like an alternate reality for the characters. There are also quite a few episodes that expand on little things brushed over in Brotherhood. It also feels like more of a journey in some ways for Ed and Al as it picks up early and shows them becoming state alchemists. There are a few revelations that aren't successful overall and the final confrontation is nowhere near epic enough but there is some other great stuff in it I won't spoil for people. It's definitely worth watching both but Brotherhood will make FMA seem a bit disappointing if you watch it before FMA.

If you want more details and slower pacing. Read the manga. No need for the other serie.

From what I've read Brotherhood is very accurate to the manga so I have no desire to read it.

I would recommend Last Exile; It is a combination of Steam Punk and Diesel Punk. The story revolves around fifteen-year-old pilot Claus Valca and navigator Lavie Head, who fly their vanship as sky couriers in the nation of Anatoray. Although they usually take up missions of relatively low difficulty, they are one day asked to complete the mission of a dying courier. The mission, rated seven stars out of ten, is to deliver a young girl named Alvis Hamilton to the mysterious battleship Silvana. Despite their fears, Claus and Lavie deliver Alvis to the battleship but decide to remain aboard to keep her safe.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)

Does it have an english dub?

I watched the first 4 episodes of Cowboy Bebop, didn't take to it at all. The main character is like Lupin the 3rd, only with a puffy hairdo and 1990s suit. It just feels so pointless, just episode to episode tracking a new bad guy, some inane goofiness. Out of place music, juxtaposed with a serious 1970s style sci fi vision of silent space. I just dont enjoy it at all.

I've been watching Fairy Tail this weekend. It's quite funny, and, surprisingly, no fanservice so far! Unless you count the dude with no shirt. Nyaa
