Holy shit that's horrendous. It's been a while since I played the game. I don't remember it being that shitty.
I mean, elebits.

That's not really voice acting.
Suikoden Tierkris is just bizarre -- with all that speed talking.
Grandia had some bad moments as well: (great music though)
STARTS AT 1:30
^Yeah I saw that -- but those are not cuts from the games are they? They saound like it's just two people acting them out. ( I only listened to the first eight).

Yes all those are from games.
Duh. I meant, those are not the actual recordings. They saoudn like re-enactments.
HOTD 2 was appalling and Tales of Symphonia was pretty bad IMO.
Tales of Vesperia is awful. I always thought the HOTD games were intentionally that way. "SufferlikeGdid?"
How many good games have good voice acting? Not acceptable, but actually good. I can't think of many western games. Maybe a couple of Japanese ones, but then again a lot of western voice acting is terribel outside of games as well. And i don't mean anime dubs.
I believe this is something that we have to settle. Bad VA has disgraced many a game in the past, and will continue to do in the future, regardless of how much money is spent on the development of a videogame. I'll kickstart this thread with one of my finest choices of shit VA in games. Eternal Sonata. Everybody sucks in here, but Polka is especially cringe-inducing.
