For some reason I find angle parking more difficult than parallel parking. I tend to misjudge the angle that my car is at, whereas I can nail a P-Park fine.

That's crazy man. I guess it's all about where you learnt to drive. Living in LA there is NO parallel parking at all (but if you are from San Francisco that's all they have).

I dont parellel park either, I can reverse park.

I never break the national speed limit either 60 or 70 mph.

I see everyone breaking the 30mph limit though, so much so that if you stick to it you get people either honking or overtaking, or riding your ass hard.

Oh parallel parking! Don't get me started. I always just park way the f*** away and walk rather than parallel park.

I cant understand how these people get themselves into the tiniest parking spaces.

I dont like parellel parking as well because you always do it on a main road and there are people waiting behind you. Unless there is a good distance between the you and the car behind you can end up indicating, breaking then finding the row of cars behind you is too close to reverse. Argh!

Yeah I'm glad I learned to drive back at home (small town) so it was easy to practice without wankers in SUVs trying to ram you just for slowing down.

everywhere i went to in SF cars were parked at right angles to the road (probably to avoid many instances of them going downhill) which i thought was a great idea (if you can make the roads wide enough).

also did you guys ever see those cars like the mercedes A & B Class which parallel park themselves?  pretty impressive though i don't know i'd trust it personally

I actually saw the Lexus version at a car show demonstrating it. It was both cool and creepy at the same time Nyaa.

I'm a bike driver. I listen to my MP3 player at max volume, and care not about street laws.

I am a Miami driver. We are annually the worst city to drive in the US. Basically that means you have to drive like a crazy person or you will mess the very careful balance of chaos we have on the streets. If you have too cut people off do it, always move up in the left turn signal lane to jump when the light turns red, go with the flow of traffic no matter the speed. Basically what happens is some slow ass drivers mess everything up, there is mad traffic in Miami what we dont need is for someone to clog up a lane. Once one person clogs up a lane then the people behind him need to cut people off in the next lane and so a giant chain reaction of crap begins. If everyone would just drive at a good pace and know where they are going it would be ok. But you always get someone that is driving like they are lost, guys who stop in a lane cause they need to switch three lanes over to make an exit

Anyway, I am not a speed guy, I usually drive about 10 MPH over the speed limit but that is usually the norm around here. On the open road the fastest I will go is 80 MPH (fuck metric). I hate parallel parking as well.

80MPH?  That runs very contrary to your "I am not a speed guy" line, unless the speed limit gets perpetually higher the further you go south.

It does! Come here! I'll show you some fun stuff. LOL

I'm just kidding, of course. Having a family, the last thing I would do is either speed or drive if I had a drink.

I'm glad you added that disclaimer or I would have totally thought you were serious Nyaa

What is it, the autobahn or something? Oh I just converted it. Yeah, on highways, speed limit is 110 km/h (68 mph) over here.

Crazy southerners.  Here within city limits 50km/h, elsewhere 80km/h (400 series highways an exception at 100km/h)

At least Vader has good roads, over here we enter highways fearing for our lives, not knowing if we are going to find a huge hole at 100 km/h that will mean the end of our mortal existence.

Several rabbits. One Kangaroo, a few birds.  All this is hard to avoid where I live. Being an animal lover (in the non-sexual sense) this was all very hard to deal with.
