How so exactly?
You mean how they come in as sort of sexy sidekicks or good looking waitresses then get thrown aside or killed?
^I am not spoiling it.
Fringe and Supernatural both started their new seasons this Friday.
Fringe Season 4 opening = meh
Supernatural season 7 opening = OMG OMG SQUEEEEEEEEEEEe
Apart from a few casting issues and a couple of duff episodes, Supernatural season 4 is everything I wanted the series to be from the get go.
Season 4 and 5 are the strongest seasons. It goes all over the place in season 6, yet somehow they manage to tie it up all together. Season 7 is awesome so far.
GG hurry up and watch season 5 and 6, so we can watch season 7 together.

Season 6 part 2 isn't released on dvd yet. I missed it on TV.
I hear that Kripke left at the end of season 5 so maybe that's why 6 was muddled?

Kripke did not leave, but he took a more hands-off approach. (according to wiki)
The reason why season 6 is such a mess is because Supernatural was supposed to run for 5 seasons. They got a deal for the sixth season, but they decided to finish the story at the fifth like they originally planned to and were going to try a new story in season 6. It was all over the place, but they eventually made it work and season 7 starts out really really stong. Season 6 was needed to prepare for season 7.
And you can watch the rest online and buy the DVD afterwards to ease your conscious. We can watch them together on Saturday while we skype to each other how lame Steel is!

Sounds like Babylon 5 which was suppossed to only be 5 years. They thought they weren't going to be renewed for a 5th season so they wrapped up the story in season 4 which was awesome, but then season 5 was a flaccid penis because of it.
I'm watching Supernatural with a friend so I have to go by his schedule too, can't just watch them online.
I'm a bit flummoxed with the number of episodes. I'm used to 22-24 episodes in US TV. All these 13 episode seasons throw me a bit.
Just watched the first couple of episodes of Terra Nova
Decent stuff so far, kinda like Avatar (James Cameron one) crossed with Jurrasic Park.
Also the concept is a complete rip of 80s cartoon Dino Riders.
I watched the first 3 episodes of Buffy the vampire slayer. A friend of mine loved it growing up so I always wanted to see what the fuss was about.
It's a mid-90s show and it shows. The sound effects are comical, on the same level as the physical punch effects in the old He Man cartoon. The action is fairly limp and laughable by todays post-Bourne world. Otherwise it's entertaining enough.
Willow is a terrible actress though.
Post-bourne world is overrated, IMO. I'll take Buffy's action any day over the shaky cam nonsense we have today.
Oh, and DO NOT talk bad about Willow!
So it was Bourne that destroyed action cinematography and editing?
Ravenprose said:gamingeek said:Willow sucks, worst acting, ever.
You suck!
No, GG is right. Alyson Hannigan sucks, there is even a video on the net that shows her sucking

P.S. did you know that Willow is married to Wesley in real life?
Does Buffy get any better? I mean in terms of pacing, story, action, effects etc? I assume the production matured over time? It was quite successful after all.
Does it ever get darker, or more fraught at all or it high school hijinks most of the time.
I ask because I just watched the episode where some students were possessed with the spirit of hyenas and they then ate the school pig mascot.
Nepotism!
Now I fucking hate her.
Lilith left Ruby's body, she could have come back. Changing the actors simply because demons can body jump is not a good thing. This series kills off good character actors only to bring in worse ones or prematurely end their storylines.
