Finished Arrow.
So they got rid of everyone except Felicity?? And her final line is "You thought I was going too? Not a chance."
Epic.
Troll.
So I saw Terminator Genysis.
Pretty decent, a bit of a retread of t1 and 2 though. Sham Lee Byun Hun wasn't the main terminator though.
Virtual younger Arnie looks awesome, as virtual younger Michael Douglas did in Ant Man. Effects have come so far, I wonder at what point it becomes price feasible to use an entirely VR model as an actor vs hiring the real thing if said megastar demanded many millions.
Anyone watch Angie Tribeca?
Am I alone on this or is it the most unfunny sitcom/spoof show ever made? It didn't get a singl laugh out of me. And I loved Police Squad and other spoofs.

I watched the first few episodes.
Donna Smoak has now had more screentime in the Arrowverse than Ra's Al Ghul, Henry Allen, and Patty Spivot. She is 15 seconds away from passing Maseo Yamashiro and 7 minutes and 30 seconds from overtaking Damien Darhk.
Tyler Hoechlin is playing Superman on Supergirl
I guess they got tired of trying to explain reasons they can't show Clark's face.
Cool. Made no sense that he was just a shadow.
There was no Batman or Wonder woman in Smallville because someone else was doing something with the characters.
Saw Independence Day 2, posted this on gaf:
Huge ID4 fan, it's one of my favorite movies ever, I've seen it a million times. Saw it last night to prepare for this one. It's an average maybe below average sequel. It absolutely captures the spirit of the first movie, it's fun, it's cheesy, it hypes you up, it has tons of cool shit. I thought it started off great with it explaining what has happened in 20 years, really good mythology building.
Then the invasion happens and it feels like the movie moves in fast forward. There are way too many characters being thrown in and the storyline is all over the place. I feel it losing the three day structure of the first movie really hurt. The first movie flowed very well, had incredible build up, all the main characters had great arcs and that speech man.
Here everyone is a bundled mess of cheesy one liners and everything is happening so fast no one has time to really shine. And this movies speech is kind of bad. It's missing the gravitas the first movie has.
Still if you like stuff blowing up and watching an alien war this works. I love the new weapons introduced, I like that the aliens themselves have a much bigger presence. And Goldblum is as good as ever.
It's about half as good as the original.
You should have seen the Leave camps Boris Johnson epic Brexit speech at Wembley. He said it would be our Independance day and the crowd went wild.
Kinda old news but Lionsgate purchased the Starz Network for 4.4 Billion.
Starz is projected to make up 60% of Lionsgate's earnings.
I saw Ghostbusters, it's ok, it's just a movie. That's the problem, the original is an all time classic and this is far from that. So what is the point? It's not even Fiigs best, it's funny in parts, dumb in others. The cast does fine but they don't have the clever writing of the first.
The plot is kind of all over the place. The villain is sort of a waste of time. there was a few odd pacing issues where you can tell something was cut out. The ghosts looked cool but most of the action fell flat, in reality the ghostbusters didn't really battle ghosts all that much in the old movies and here they try to turn it into some giant action movie at the end which doesn't add much to anything as it's just them shooting beams of light at ghosts.
The camoes were mostly wasted especially bill Murray. There might be something there for a franchise but it was not a focused well written movie.
That sounds like he movie I thought this was going to be. I might catch it at a cheap matinee.
