I might still like it, I loved BvS but I'm not seeing X-Men Apocalypse in theaters, I'm waiting for it to air on HBO.
That's a pity. My wife is a huge X-Men fan. So even if it sucks I'm still going to have to see it in the theaters.

The only X-Men film I saw in theaters was the Last Stand.
Here is a quote from Forbes.
"I won’t outright say that this is the worst X-Men film ever made because X-Men Origins: Wolverine is still that bad. But it is unquestionably the worst “team” X-Men movie ever made."

Holy crap... if it's worse than the Last Stand then fuck it. That was terrible (I briefly had the names for 2 and 3 mixed up for a minute). And if the only one you saw in the theaters was the Last Stand, I can certainly understand why you never saw another one in the theaters.
Overall I've enjoyed the franchise. The first was good, the second was great. First Class and Days of Future Past were both very good, and THE Wolverine was great (with the exception of the ending). And we will simply never speak of Origins....

I can't believe this.
TV: Castle, Agent Carter, Nashville and more cancelled Supergirl moved
Fucking great! So Katic leaves Castle and the whole show gets cancelled even with that huge cast of charismatic characters.
Agent Carter gets killed, another fun show dead.
Not only that ABC who cancelled Agent carter is not going ahead with the Agents of Shield spin off Most Wanted. Which means Agents of Shield wrote two cast members out of the show for nothing!
Saw Justice League Gods and Monsters. These DC animated movies have been on something of a losing streak since the excellent Flashpoint Paradox.
- 2.18 Justice League: War - was okay
- 2.19 Son of Batman - crap
- 2.20 Batman: Assault on Arkham - goodish
- 2.21 Justice League: Throne of Atlantis - boring
- 2.22 Batman vs. Robin
- 2.23 Justice League: Gods and Monsters -crap
- 2.24 Batman: Bad Blood
- 2.25 Justice League vs. Teen Titans
- 3 Upcoming projects
It seems like they are doing more original movies not based on comic books and they are falling flat. Or they are using more recent DC material like the Throne of Atlantis movie and they are just underwhelming. I used to collect these movies, now I just rent them.
Chloe Bennett has some harsh words for Marvel.
"During a Q&A session at Wizard World Des Moines this weekend, the S.H.I.E.L.D. star was asked why Tony Stark or Steve Rogers haven’t dropped by to help fight Hive, an evil ancient Inhuman. “I don’t know,” Bennet replied, “People who make movies for Marvel, why don’t you acknowledge what happens on our show? Why don’t you guys go ask them that? Because they don’t seem to care!” Extra fuel was thrown into the fire when she later added, “The Marvel Cinematic Universe loves to pretend that everything is connected, but then they don’t acknowledge our show at all. So, I would love to [appear in a Marvel movie], but they don’t seem too keen on that idea.”
So I saw The Theory of Everything, which was okay. But the bigger suprise was Charlie Cox who plays Daredevil is in it and he's English.
Looking at imdb, he grew up in Dorset and was born in London. Crazy how many brits play American superheroes.
So Nintyfan, what made you had it with Arrow? You gave up on it?
I've found season 4 a drag and the only way I got through it was by using the net at the same time. Will somebody please really kill Felicity off already? She's like half the screen time now. At first she was cute and funny now she's an emotional time suck bed hopper.
I also found it pretty insulting to disabled people that she could be paralysed one episode then miracle chip fixed the next. But watching this season I can see why I've tired of the show. The constant time swapping is getting annoying, I would rather see what is going on on the island then be constantly teased.
There is "action" in every episode which gets repetitive. The plots are too fast moving, so much so that you lose interest. And now the whole cast is basically Team Arrow, when it used to be just Oliver, then Diggle.
Also I hated how the showrunners particularly Marc Guggenheim said screw the canon from the comics after people freaked out over the death. It doesn't have to be exactly like it is in the comics but they still have to respect the 70 plus years of canon that came before it.
The fans that got into Arrow because of the comics hate the show now but the fans of Felicity which is the only fanbase Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle want, love what they are doing to Arrow.
I'm not at the death point yet. Don't really think I'd mind any of them dying.
I'm avoiding Legends of Tommorow at all costs. Seriously what is that show? Gather the crappiest B list characters from Flash and Arrow and put in a smart alec Englishman? Nope.
Flash Writers versus Arrow Writers
If you are falling asleep watching a movie it's probably because you are tired.
