I finished Young Justice season 1.
I missed Season 1 and went onto Season 2 when it originally aired.
Netflix doesn't have Invasion (Season 2)
I saw the first three episodes of Daredevil and there were two parts where I had to look away. In the 2nd episode when he tortured that guy by stabbing the guys face and in episode 3 when Matt Murdochs client killed himself by ramming his face into a spike after telling Daredevil who hired his lawyers.
So I saw Jurrasic world, it's a fun exciting summer movie. Very entertaining and enjoyable. Also not in the same class as the original, though I didn't expect it to be. Basically the difference is one movie was made by a master at his craft and this one was made by an average director. The movie tries to have the same awe inspiring moments, but pales in comparison. It tries to have suspenseful scenes but never reaches the highs of the first.
I think the most noticeable difference in filmmaking is in the characters. In most of spielbergs adventure films his charcters are of a certain style. They are never too serious, not too funny and just emotional enough when they need to be. I feel like Jurassic Park was filled with characters that had that perfect balance and that kept the film grounded. World has charcters that try to be like that but the balance is off. Some come off as too comedic, the timing of when to be funny and serious felt off. There is basically a cartoon villain in it, I didn't care for that whole storyline. think of how Jurassic Park actually wanted the audience to think about what they were creating, should they play with power that large, it engaged smart discussion in a big summer movie. This movie does not have that equivalent.
Spielberg is also the master of strattling the line between horror, suspense and adventure. Jurassic Park is scary when it needs to be. It has you with sweaty palms clenching your seat during other moments. And yet it keeps the adventurous spirit that makes it enjoyable for the whole family. Jurassic World tries to do the same but just like with the characters the balance is not quite right. Horrible things happen on screen and there is an ill timed joke, or love story moment. It's never as suspenseful or as terrifying.
I will say it has great action, this is the best dinosaur action we have ever seen. I think the last thirty minutes is absolutely awesome, it's crowd pleasing, it's everything summer movies should be. There is nothing bad about the film it just feels more like a bad photocopy of Jurassic park, it's more of a generic summer movie version, but it is still hugely entertaining. It also plays with nostalgia of the first movie in interesting ways.
So it's definitely a movie worth seeing, let's face it almost everyone is going to go see it. It's just not a classic.
Going to see Jurrasic World tonight, WOOOOOH!
The premise is a bit silly though, what not with them creating their own dinosaur. But hey, it's Hollywood, everything needs to be a huge spectacle these days, gotta outdo the originals and whatnot. Still, if someone ever should decide to try something similar, it would be only reasonable for them to try and make a herbivore, just to play it safe.
I'm two thirds through Interstellar and it's long...... very very long.
So Jurassic World sounds exactly like like I thought it would. I still would love to see it.

It's pretty good, just very veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long
Watched Jurassic World yesterday. It was entertaining, it was nostalgic, but it was also pretty bad. What made the Jurassic park films so much fun was that they were about the clash between humans and dinosaurs being just dinosaurs. In this movie there's a lot of unnatural and inconsistent behaviour from the dinosaurs, as well as from the humans I supose. Like vader said, all the human elements in the film feel a bit off, with little character development not only being very predictable, but also rather binary. This scene they're acting this way, next seen 'oh look my character just developped' and now they're acting completely the opposite way.
As for the 'dinosaur action' Vader was referring to, it basically turns the movie into a Kaiju movie for a few minutes. I also doubt this scene will have much appeal beyond the American home market. Add up some plotholes and poorly explained stuff, as well as the cartoon villain who's clearly only there to set up a sequel that will head off into a direction I do not feel comfortable with, and yeah, pretty poor showing. Even the dinosaurs themselves don't feature very heavily in the movie, save for a few carnivores.
Finished Intersteller, pretty good but I did LOL at the bit in the structure when he said that this whole thing was a construct of a little girls room. There were a few very large plotholes regarding these benevolent aliens and stock time travel trope of "it was me" so I couldn't wholly love it. The best bit was freaky weird Matt Damon.
Game of Thrones was looking to be the most boring on record, then that amazing

White walker massacre happened, so awesome. Then dragons land in the colliseum?!
Awesome but kinda sly that she bailed out on her crew and basically left them to die. Also kinda stupid how she distracted the dragon for a stroke, letting it get stabbed in the back.

No.
Jurassic World has the biggest worldwide opening ever, over $500 million. It had the second biggest US opening ever behind only avengers 1. This will be the third biggest movie ever which Furious 7 just became, so universal in one year will have the third and fourth biggest movies of all time in the same year. Until Star Wars beats all of them.
That really came out of nowhere. Makes me curious on what we can expect out of Star Wars with all of the hype surrounding it.

Young Justice, taken before its time, just like Justice League : (
Finished Daredevil, good series but the costume in the last episode is goofy. Prefer the old outfit.
Also after 3 years of Arrow hearing someone talk about "this city" just comes across wrongly.
