The Flash is going nowhere fast, every episode is baddie of the week rubbish like Captain Cold and the Weather Wizard, this show badly needs a decent story arc. I know there is this thing about his mother but its going nowhere.

We get some resolution to his mothers murder in the Mid-Season finale. They also start hinting at the Season finale where Barry will have to go back in time like in the comics to prevent his mothers death. Probably in Season 2 will be their version of Flashpoint paradox.

I don't think they would be able to do the story justice, without first introducing Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg etc.
I saw a Gotham and it was actually good, the one where the bald guy came for Gordon.

We only got to episode 10 here in North America because that is the mid-season finale. It will be back on in January or February so we don't know if there is a time skip yet.
