Yeah it definitely looks like they cranked out an excellent game here. Can’t wait until tomorrow to start playing the campaign.
Disc owners cannot play this now because theyll need to wait to download the game at 10am PT. The state of games today.
Yeah, very unfortunate that the game isn’t on the disc. If you’re going to go to all the trouble and spend money on putting out a physical product why not put the actual game on that product. Really irks me when these companies rush out these physical versions that either don’t have the full game on it or need day one patches to work.
Just started playing this morning. It feels very open just in the first mission. The grappleshot is making things interesting.
Played some last night and I’m at the first boss who is really kicking my ass right now. I am playing it on Legendary right now.

Just beat the first boss before watching the VGA show tonight. Pretty intense fight but this old man’s still got it.
I knew you could do it! . I loved that boss fight. It kind of reminded me of some MGS bosses.
343 Far Cry'd this game. Actually I love every change, the shot in the arm that the series needs. Good stuff.
I've finally felt well enough to start the game tonight. I played through the first level. It looks like Halo. It feels like Halo. Yeah, It's pretty good so far.
Beat the second boss which was another very intense fight as well. Died a few times to him also. Captured a couple of FOB’s, rescued a couple of groups of soldiers, smashed a couple of propaganda towers, and beat my first high valued target. Gameplay feels great and really enjoy the open world nature of the game. Pretty fun just exploring.
Third boss defeated. I died. A lot.
I ended up cheesing him for the last half of his health. I was grappling around trying to avoid him and ended up on a ledge above a doorway and it looked like he couldn’t attack me there for some reason. I’ll take it.
This game is so freaking exciting. The firefights are tense and fun and I've never, ever really felt that way before. Open world changes everything.
Since getting outside, all I've been doing is exploring. The draw distance is amazing. Makes me want the next Elder Scrolls game.
Yep, i just try to discover new areas and theres tons to do. I want to grapple through the trees like Spider-Man.
Does snyone else find it incredibly difficult to drive around this terrain?
A lot of firsts in the series for me, like me making this thread. The multiplayer has been a blast and the campaign comes out tomorrow so I felt like needed this thread, especially considering how many of us will be playing the campaign tomorrow. Lets discuss!
