oh that one. Looks better to me than any other "normal" Mario outfit. Very classic.

Killer mechanics so far, a lot of filler tho. Not sunshine level filler. But its like taking Mario 64's mechanics in to type of collect-a-thon Banjo was, as opposed to the type of collect-a-thon Mario 64 is. And Mario 64 is a better game than Banjo, top to bottom. Banjo is for scrubs. Otherwise game is lit.

Yeah it's weird.

Anyone else appreciate that the developers are actively giving us original levels and original art styles? The Lost Kingdom for instance and Luncheon Kingdoms have their very own artstlye. Very cool in a world when everyone is going for for more realism.

I wish they had gone further with the art styles.  I loved the Luncheon Kingdom as well as the first one, with all the hats.  That was very Burtonesque and raised my hopes for the game.  Then I arrived at cascade Kingdom and it was clear that half of the worlds would look nothing like a Mario level...

The Danny Elfman style music in hat land was cool. I did like Cap Kingdom? Artstyle but after a while the black and white made everything samey. Also, I wish that lighting the lanterns would actually do something cool.

I noticed a blemmish on the otherwise immaculate polish in Mario Odissey: When travelling to the Luncheon kingdom through the painting, you can spot the Odissey in that kingdom, while it should still be in whatever kingdom it was I last parked it.

It does that for all paintings, I guess in case you decide to stay in that kingdom.

You can't stay. All the places you reach like that are way out of reach of the rest of the level.

Unledd you can fast travel from there.  I haven't tried because I've only ever used the fast travel once. Fast travel has no place in a mario game.

So..... I made it to the final, final level.

Seriously, WTF?? That's impossible! And to go fast enough up the falling posts, you have to freaking waggle. The camera is fucked up too for that section.

Just beat the last 'world'. The reward is utterly useless. I checked my profile and I've played the game for '20 hours or more' and have collected 506 moons. I checked my friends list and yoy all have like between 50 and 60 hours?! I don't think I'll be playing much more of this. Those last 400 moobs can get stuffed. I'll play some more still, but I'm teady to move on.

I think I'll hover up another 150 moons, but I'm not going to go pixel hunting for the last 150.  I've always gotten all the stars in previous Mario games, but too many moons lack that sense of achievement for me to really go OCD.
