Anything that resembles interesting music. There are a ton of classic Metroid tunes that you remember, there is nothing like that so far.

Hurry up and get the game (yes I know your country doesn't have it yet, don't let that stop you). I want to see what you think.

Who you talking to? Me or Kenji?
Will first finish Boy and his Blob. Almost done with that and then I am wide open to buy new games. Maybe it will be Other M if I can hobo it, maybe it will be other games.

Of course I am talking to Kenji, he's my boy.
Do you normally get Metroid games at launch or is it this game that doesn't interest you much.

I did not get Metroid Prime 3 at lunch I mean launch. Neither did I get Galaxy and NSMBWii at launch.
About Other M it depends, on hobo pricing and time.
A few things I didn't mention last night, the camera angles are incredible. The camera is constantly moving to the best positions to capture the action, its all controled automatically and works extremely well. The missile recharge thing is ok, I perfer having enemies drop the health and missiles just cause it gives you incentive to fight and seeing that ammo you need at the right moment is a rush. Now you basically choose when to refill but in the heat of battle its not a good idea to stand still so at least that limits its use.
I just reached a section that turned this fun action game into a slow paced fake horror game. I don't get the RE4 like sections, why slow everything down and for no reason, you can't do anything in this mode. Can't wait to be done with that section to get back to the action.
Got the First Beam Upgrade.
Found some spots that use the Grapple.
Just don't know where to go!
I haven't had much time to concentrate on the game today...
Maybe tomorrow or Friday!

Oh... I thought you went on some marathon gaming session. I wanted to have your opinions on the rest of the game. You are worthless to me now.
I guess I am ahead of you. I think you are at the part where you were in a morph ball tunnel and you found a different path that lead you to that outside chamber on top of a cliff with some grapple points. If so you had to keep going down the normal morph ball route. That will take you to where you need to go.
Consoles, I get an hour or two TOPS on any given day except MAYBE, SOMETIMES on the weekends!

Seems that person has no clue you can instant charge a blast after a dodge.
Agnates said:Wait til you get to the part he climbs up the duct jumping (not wall jump, the other, hanging from ledges)... Or where he fights the enemies that turn into a ball... Gawd... Or the very first platforms at 19 mins in... My God.
I just randomly picked a spot, yeah it seemed pretty bad.
It is cool moment after cool moment. Each major room has something unique going on whether its a new enemy or a major action setpiece. It could be a platforming segment or even a simple puzzle. Its always something, the game keeps you on your toes as any good action game should. I fought a few boss battles and they were all pretty good, though so far they seem to all follow the same pattern on how to defeat them. No doubt this is a quality game, I am enjoying the hell out of it so far.
Yeah I wish it was more like other Metroid games but I gotta hand it to them for trying something different.
the game is as near perfect as a metroid game can be its very story driven and fills the gap in metroid story
i find the controls very satisfying and flawless i love using the speed booster and super jump is so awesome looking in the game and its cool that you can aim where to jump in this game so its just not straight up like old games
