I'll put the joycons in it and put a box or block of wood/plastic the same size as switch in between. Thus making myself my own Wii U pad for switch with a wide grip.
It worked. The shell arrived today, thankfully it's rigid but a little flexible. The joycons slot in perfectly and it came with a block of foam I cut to the dimensions of the switch. I put the foam between the joycons when it's in the shell and voila. I have my own Wii U controller to use on switch. Now I need to test it out with Splatoon.

Actually I've been collecting pics of Salmon Run where I'm the lone survivor at the end. Too many people just run about netting eggs and dying. I die often just trying to save them. I'll upload some pics this week.
Yeah, there are too many idiots in salmon run. Still, it's not easy cooperating with only very limited means of communication, and at the higher levels the time limit can get very stringent, leading to a lot of risk taking.
I actually back people up and play more like a team mate than most if not all people. Sometimes I will hang back and cover peoples retreat, other times I will guard loose eggs so they aren't stolen. I often wait on that blasted lift and don't raise it until my team mates are on it. I call everyone to rally points when grillers or motherships attack. I run to take down flyfish and stingers other ignore which end up killing them.

Splashdown special, autobombs. This eliminates one of the flaws of the heavy splatling set in that now if MOFOS get near you you have something to counter them. Autobombs are shit though. Really shit.
