So AKB48 are one of these massive supergroups of Idols. I don't tend to like them that much but they do the odd decent song. I like Jabaja from AKB48, the video is fun

Here is a Chinese song that I found by complete chance; it was randomly auto-played after an entirely different kind of video. It's the opening theme of a TV show called Story of Yanxi Palace. Normally I wouldn't have paid any attention, but the ending sounded so unusual (though I wouldn't be too surprised if it's a common style) and intriguing to me.
I'm also going to try to cheat by posting Russian music by a singer from a city right on the "border" between Europe and Asia.
