So what did I miss?
Anyone notice how many times we're either seeing CG trailers or no trailers at all? They are so early they have to film inside the studios offices for interviews and fish around for concept art. Most of the games at this E3 will be shown at next years E3 and still not be out.
Next gen is about waiting, watching and waiting in between playing indie platformers.
Terrible conference, almost nothing to show.

Its like the PS1/N64/Saturn era, only back then the big games we waited for were original, revolutionary games...not the 10th game in a series.

Conceptual Prototype the conference. They had nothing to show. Why does no one have anything to show?! ME, DA, Mirror's Edge, Star Wars all very quick footage most not even real. The way the conference was presented was poor. Sims was terrible and took forever. The sports stuff is just boring. Battlefield was their big moment but it was scripted to hell and then the beta sign up doesn't work.
Terrible conference.

I actually thought The Sims stuff was pretty good. If you're into that series (and let's face it there's around 10 millions fans), that was a pretty good segment. I was never a fan, but I went back and showed it to my wife who is, and she's fucking giddy at the prospect of killing people by making them laugh themselves to death. But after that first 10 to 15 minutes I should have just walked off and masturbated or something.
Might I suggest live action hentai next time. 
finally got signed up for the beta, but of course that does not mean I get in I still hate EA.
